Very nice list! I don't do ASMR, but I am into audio recording, and while I knew most of these, the one about a towel on the desk was new to me, and makes total sense.
Yes!! Just make sure you have a very comfy seat in there, or that you don't film for too long at a time. My closet was tiny, so I used to have a small stool and my back would hurt so much after too long 😭
even though I've watched ASMR for like 8 years, i have zero interest in doing ASMR, ... buuuut your soft spoken, smooth voice is amazing(ly relaxing). Best thing: no "uh" or "ah"s
I'm so glad you liked the vid even though you don't want to make ASMR! And thank you for the feedback, I'm glad that my ums and ahs aren't noticeable or distracting - I will try to keep it up 😊
ASMR, tutorials... my nerd dream! 🤭 Really enjoying your channel. Thank you for being here and providing us all with some much needed peace and relaxation! Keep up the excellent work!
I'm not making ASMR videos but I thought about it for some time and started learning about it. That's why I have two small additions to your tips: When something is happening that you know you want to edit or remove later you can clap your hands or snap your fingers. Then you see this as a big spike in the audio wave form and you don't forget it when editing the video. And you you scratched it already: you can use devices to record that don't have fans like phones, tablets or even some laptop computers. I don't know about the Tascam but Zoom has a similar recorder with XLR inputs. It can be used to record audio using external microphones. That's also a completely silent solution. (But today I'd totally get a Tascam recorder instead of a Zoom. Touching the mics on the Zoom that I own sounds very plasticy. It sounds a lot better on the Tascam.)
The snap/clap is a great tip for filming, I always forget to do this 😅 And yes I think the Tascam can be used to record other external mics but I haven't tested it yet. It is such a lovely mic even though it doesn't have XLR, it's just USB. Highly recommend ✌️
when I’m filming my asmr videos they sounds good but once I post to TikTok it adds an annoying white noise do you know how I can avoid this? thank you for this video very helpful!
Actually, I think that has been happening to my vids on TikTok as well - but I only notice it when it plays out loud, but it's fine with headphones in. Not sure if that's the same for you but unfortunately I don't know what causes it 😭
It's so nice to see you smiling and loving life!
You have such a perfect voice for asmr and your hand movements are the icing on the cake!
Thank youuuu!! And hi nunya hope you're doing well!

That's awesome, and thank you! Yes the towel on the table always helps me, hope it does for you too 👍
Thank you so much!!! This was all I’ve been worrying about. I’m going back to a one bedroom apartment and will probably film in my closet.

I am honoured that you're enjoying the channel 🙏🙏 So happy to be making vids again, and I love making tutorials!!
The most important tip, though, is to live near train tracks so you can get some nice rhythmic, soothing train noises going by in the background ;-)
Ah, how could I forget to mention this! Instead, I said the opposite 🤣 Don't worry, I'll slip a train sound back in one of these days 🚂
