  • Using my Cort G300 Pro with JB in the bridge for some generic E standard metal riffing. This time, the mic is a Sennheiser E609 on a Mesa Black Shadow MC90 (Celestion Classic Lead 80). This amp really seems to gel with this speaker.

MZ is an underrated boost pedal.

Metalzone is a killer DISTORTION pedal when you remove one capacitor and when you know how to use it correctly.

@@jeremiahfiek5495 Even in stock trim it's a lot better than many give it credit for. It does a fantastic Rockman impersonation too.

Great tone and playing bro. Can you play some deicide riffs one day through this rig? I ask because I know back in the day the Hoffman's used a metalzone as a boost and I've got a live pic from an old magazine of Brian Hoffman standing if front of a Randall stack, so at some point they must have used Randall's not just Marshall's?

Thanks! I never really learned any old Deicide riffs, will try to see if I can learn any but that might be outside my skill levels, haha.

@@low_e_music cheers bro, yes they are certainly fast! From their self titled debut riffs from Oblivious to Evil, and Lunatic of God's creation are probably doable! (don't underestimate yourself - your playing sounds pretty good to me!)
