At 26:20 the Saar uses a command counter from his reinforcements to activate a system. (You can see he has 3 Strategy tokens before at 22:06 and after at 30:30)
Nice that the refree forces "your ship touched the hex -> it is moving", but totally misses such a huge game changing misplay. Would say that that should be their primary focus - to check proper handling of command tokens and payment for units
I liked the sound settings last year better than this year. It’s much less confusing to just hear the commentators telling us the deals made...or a least they need to speak up so we can hear them over the table chatter. By the way, did you guys edit down the length last year or is there just that much talking this year. Last year was nice. It felt edited and refined. This is just too long with too little happening.
Can someone explain the interaction involving the Naalu during the Agenda phase that the narrators said they wished to see errata'd? I'm newer to the game and want to follow what went on.
The second agenda was "Miscount Disclosed" - it allows people to elect one law to vote on again as if it were revealed now. There was only one law on the board - so every player knew 100% for certain which law would be elected, there was only one valid target and no ability to elect nothing. There is furthermore a class of action card known as a rider. These cards say "You can not vote on this agenda - but you can guess what the result of this vote will be. If you are right, something happens". The exact something that happens depends on what the rider is. Because there was only one valid target for the 'Miscount Disclosed' agenda, everyone who had a rider card (such as the Naalu) could put their riders onto the agenda at no risk to themselves of the vote going differently than predicted, thus guaranteeing they get the rider effect. This is an interaction they would like patched, since riders should have a risk of people voting opposite how you predicted just to spite you/prevent your rider.
You guys talk over the table wayy too much. You should be explaining to us what is going on, or letting us listen to the players. Constantly talking about them with your own jokes or asides is actually quite annoying because I just don't care. I tuned in to follow the game, not your inside jokes.

Is this cheating?
Nice catch. Totally missed that one myself :D

Holy f*ck the Saar player's fingers are more in his mouth than anywhere else.
35:16 I SEE YOU LOOKING AT THE AGENDA CARDS SCHROEDER!!!
Naalu at 54:43 made me smile so much. Such an absurd thought, but brilliantly absurd!
*Dune Spoiler* 1:00:00 that is literally the plot of Dune series.

I think it's a writer not a rider
@@mrbrdo It's rider. It's legal terminology en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rider_(legislation)
@@mrbrdo Although it was written it rides the legislature like a remora.

If you don't want to listen to them then you shouldn't be on their channel?
Strongly disagree. To each their own.
I agree Stephen. Half of the game is communication of the players. It doesn’t help us follow the flow when these guys keep talking.
