I think, it's not marksman rifle at all, it's assault rifle with close-range scope. Advanced version of Liberator Penetrator, for medium and close range combat. So, using is for actual sniping is really bad idea.

This gun in full auto with a grenade pistol and supply pack against bots really makes it come alive. It may not be "meta" but it's far from bad. Its biggest weakness is the number of magazines you get. Even the diligence gets more total rounds and that gun does way more damage per shot. Adjudicator should come with at least 8 magazines. The low damage per shot doesn't bother me bc if it was any higher in damage it would make the diligence obsolete.

So this "marksman" rifle requires you to run straight in front of the enemy, stun them with grenades, aim and shoot them in the face. Thanks but my Eruptor can do this from actual range without any additional equipment. Give the Adjudicator a 50% damage boost and it might, maybe, be half-way useable.
The Adjudicator isn't a DMR or an Assault Rifle. It's a Battle Rifle. You can't use it the same way as either of those and expect it to work. Battle rifles IRL are for fighting on open terrain, where you can see the enemy at a distance. It's best used at a range of 50-150 meters, while crouching to reduce recoil. If enemies are spread out, use semi auto. If bunched, full auto. Don't lead the charge into bases/nests, hang back a little. Support your allies with it. It's not a weapon for going Leeroy Jenkins, and it's not for picking off single targets from half the map away. You can still get plenty of kills with the weapon if you use it right.

The diligence kills small bots with 1 shot to the chest allowing you to kill 20 bots per mag (Theoretically) The adjudicator requires 2 shots allowing you to kill 12 bots per mag (Theoretically) It is inefficient at converting its 2000 damage per mag into dead bots A lot of its damage goes to waste
I really want to like it. It hits all the right spots in terms of what I like in a primary. I can even learn to live with the magazine size. Damage is the issue and it just isn't where it needs to be. Doesn't need a HUGE buff, but definitely more than it has.
people give this gun flak but i noticed it seems to have a low noise profile, enemies can't hear you until you're very close, which i think is why its other stats are so poor. still could use a buff but if you play quietly and carefully it helps more than you think that said i usually main dominator and eruptor so uhhh, maybe its just i'm used to loud guns
I think they should just designate it as a heavy AR like a BAR, slow firing but hard hitting. Call it something like the HSAR and up the mag to 30 rounds, give it three fire rates (400, 550, & 700), up the damage a bit to maybe 90 (don’t really know since 80 is still good), and double the mags you can carry. Finally remove the scope and give it the defender’s signs. The game could use more AR type weapons especially something that isn’t another liberator variant. I’m no game designer though so I don’t know how balanced it would be if they made those kinds of changes to it. I’m just giving suggestions.
Meanwhile, using Sickle: *have armor with reduced recoil stats, burst fire bots weakpoints, full auto annoying bugs, don't let it overheat, win games* And by the end of mission have over 1500 shots with 60-70% accuracy ez peez

adjudicator works reallly well for bugs imo. does exceedingly well against bile spewers for headshots, hive lords go down as easy as a hunter almost, and it comes with 8 mags. it has less ammo but the armor pen makes up for it against bugs. i hated it against robots
Believe it or not, I like this gun, but I always run out of magazines. You must land headshots though. The recoil is manageable at fullauto compated to the HMG. It reloads faster than the liberator penetrator, and the medium penetration allows you to do full red hit market damage on light armor spots. It's like a side graded liberator with the benefit of more damage, faster reload, but with reduced accuracy and reserve ammo
The scope is inaccurate; even the AMR scope confirmed to be misaligned in the recent patch is more precise. I am talking even while using it in semi-mode.
Ah yes the adjudicator. The marksmanrifle where you havt to shoot almost point blank to twoshot medium enemies. If only sniper rifles woul exist in this game, that could do the same but from a safe distance...but seriously pls Devs this gun needs less recoil
I love this gun! People just cant shoot. I main it every mission have little to no issues. An i fight both bots an bugs i can also take out most of my target from a distance so no need to stun.
I see so many people using the adjudicator like an assault rifle when its not. Its damage is low because its a marksman rifle. The whole point is to aim for weak spots. You can reliably double tap devastators at 100M+ with this thing. The Weapon is incredibly smooth and built for rapid target acquisition. Its strong enough to one shot head shot most basic enemies and accurate enough to stay on target despite rapid semi auto fire. The full auto is best reserved for targets with in 25M that need more than one or two shots to take down. At ranges longer than 25M the recoil from full auto makes the gun unwieldly thus wasting ammo. Against bots this gun is a work horse being effective against everything devastator and below. Vs the bugs it thrashes any bug with a head weak spot. Unfortunately Im not too familiar with the weak spots on warriors, brood commanders or spewers. Knowing where those are would drastically up the killing potential of the gun and improve its ammo economy.
Its definitely more of a battle rifle than a marksman rifle. They really built this primaty for mediocrity and doesn't really have a purpose. 25 round mag, only 6 spare mags, and recoils almost like the autocannon. I don't mind keeping the 25 round capacity, but maybe up the damage to 90, 8 spare mags, and recoil nerf to maybe 40. Other then that, theres literally no reason to pick this over any other primary, other than just pure shenanigans.
For a "DMR"/battle rifle kind of gun i exoected it to deal more than 80 dmg the medium armor pen is nice but 8 think it should do 87-93 dmg and not 80, like the smg makes 70 dmg how come a dmr has such a small margin

I really can't understand the design principle of this rifle. Everything you mentioned about "how to use this rifle" in this video would exactly work with Scorcher or Dominator, and they work much better than this Adjudi-shit. No relative competitiveness for this rifle, really.

I don't understand why AH keeps making the medium armor weapons do less damage AND give them worse handling. It should really be just bad handling because the lower overall damages makes it kinda DoA to me. I will say though, it's weird that you kept using the Adjudicator, a marksman rifle, in close quarters. That's not what it's for besides as a last resort. You should really be keeping your distance and going to crit shots or breaking off limbs.
I've always referred to this gun as a Hybrid weapon. it's not quite strong or accurate enough to be a true marksman rifle, but it far too powerful to be considered an AR.
Like other DMR's it needs its scope to be fixed (Adjudicator shoots high to the right) The enemy hitboxes could use some fixes or there should be some clientside leeway when it comes to hitboxes (berserkers are the worst offenders but anything walking with a sway is a nightmare atm) They needs better handling/ergo, you need to be landing your headshots to make it any good - but poor handling makes this hard. Just those would make landing those headshots a hell of a lot easier. You dont need stuns, you can also just use cover and peak taking 1 target at a time but on some maps its not the easiest thing in the world to achieve. Also the devs seem to give a LOT of weight to medium armour pen when balancing weapons which makes it not that good. Like medium armour pen does mean you do more damage to light armour - but its no different against light light armour or unarmoured weakspots so if you are aiming for weakspots the extra pen doesnt really do anything. The Adjudicator, Diligence and counter sniper (after like 10-15m) are all 2 shots to the head of a devastator but so is the defender SMG which has twice the ammo, hell the redeemer side arm is also 2 taps to a devastators head - the main difference is the DMR's get nice scopes (that then arent centered properly). Not to mention even if you CAN pen medium armour you do reduced damage - so if the weapons base damage is lower as a result of balancing its pen then its still pretty bad for killing medium armoured enemies.
Which zoom range are you seeing the drift at? I think, weirdly enough, at the max 100m zoom the reticle is almost spot on. The other two zooms are off, so I dunno. Maybe try it in full zoom? Because nothing is better than aiming at a scavenger eating your shins with a 100m zoom scope so you can REALLY make sure you're aiming at it.
@@steeljawX Max range zoom it definitely goes high and it seems like it goes slightly to the right, about as much to the right as the AMR goes to the left. But honestly it could be to do with the sway.
Worth noting that Medium Pen is useful but not necessarily for the ability to pierce Medium Armor, rather that it can pen Light Armor and deals 100% of its damage. The problem with that? There's not a lot of enemies with Light Armor and any with no armor would be taking full damage regardless, hence why it feels lacking within its niche. The other Medium Pen options typically deal enough damage to bruteforce kills, thus feel more impactful while the Adjudicator is left trying to specialize in killing essentially Brood Commanders & Nursing Spewers.
Stun stun stun grenades....To get VERY close and have that SWEET pinpoint accuracy that those Marksman rifles are famous for especially when you are in their face! But what if god forbids you ran out of magical stun grenades? I think your bestest option is to Melee them with the AdJudasTraitor and then Call in for enforsement! Bestest weapon EVA not even Top tier but S-TEAR !!
I just take fortified armor, jump on my stomach and 1 shot 1 kill for headshots and 2 shots when hitting the body for small units. Can easily snipe other targets as well. I like the gun a lot, just wish it had a bit more damage. Imo the recoil is fine, just don't use auto unless in CQC. Its a well ballanced gun that compliments the Autocannon + Laser + Eagle Airstrike + Railcannon strike. Sometimes I take the Spear and the Autocannon sentry with it. EDIT: I don't use it on bugs.
I use this more as an assault than an DMR, but the mag size is more painful than the recoil itself, id rather using my AR 23 liberator, does the same job, more controllable, more ammo, btw adjucator needs a buff cause its so cool....
I used it for two days. I usually use the “concussive” liberator or the knight. And i run out of ammo with the adjudicator way faster than the knight and thats crazy!!! Lmao they really dropped the ball on the adjudicator. I understand the recoil hight due to caliber but Jesus the marksmen rifles suck compared to one from hd1, that was special because of the toxic rounds and armor piercing. I really wanted to use it but its useless for my play style. Im a run and gunner. The adjudicator is for marksmen solely.

He was using stun grenades and very smart positioning to hide behind cover and using the other bots to block shots.

Yeah needs about 20 more damage so it can one shot smaller targets like it's description implies . It isn't accurate enough to be used long range

Personally I like niche weapons, a gun that can just do everything kind kills gameplay for me and basically trivializes other weapons' and playstyles.

Is a nice battle rifle, I consider it a more flexible weapon than the dominator. Could use a tiny damage buff but not by much

If you are using at marksman rifle and have shot at point blank for it to be good. Than the marksman rifle is indeed horrible. This makes no sense

I really can't understand the design principle of this rifle. Everything you mentioned about "how to use this rifle" in this video would exactly work with Scorcher or Dominator, and they work much better than this Adjudi-shit. No relative competitiveness for this rifle, really.

For this weapon yes.... so in other words It's still bad without Sub DPS stratagems
there is a bit of synergy with the armor that gives +2 grenades, it also gives reduced recoil. seems like a good pair for adjucator in this context

I don't understand why AH keeps making the medium armor weapons do less damage AND give them worse handling. It should really be just bad handling because the lower overall damages makes it kinda DoA to me.
I will say though, it's weird that you kept using the Adjudicator, a marksman rifle, in close quarters. That's not what it's for besides as a last resort. You should really be keeping your distance and going to crit shots or breaking off limbs.

I've always referred to this gun as a Hybrid weapon. it's not quite strong or accurate enough to be a true marksman rifle, but it far too powerful to be considered an AR.

Like other DMR's it needs its scope to be fixed (Adjudicator shoots high to the right)
The enemy hitboxes could use some fixes or there should be some clientside leeway when it comes to hitboxes (berserkers are the worst offenders but anything walking with a sway is a nightmare atm)
They needs better handling/ergo, you need to be landing your headshots to make it any good - but poor handling makes this hard.
Just those would make landing those headshots a hell of a lot easier.
You dont need stuns, you can also just use cover and peak taking 1 target at a time but on some maps its not the easiest thing in the world to achieve.
Also the devs seem to give a LOT of weight to medium armour pen when balancing weapons which makes it not that good.
Like medium armour pen does mean you do more damage to light armour - but its no different against light light armour or unarmoured weakspots so if you are aiming for weakspots the extra pen doesnt really do anything.
The Adjudicator, Diligence and counter sniper (after like 10-15m) are all 2 shots to the head of a devastator but so is the defender SMG which has twice the ammo, hell the redeemer side arm is also 2 taps to a devastators head - the main difference is the DMR's get nice scopes (that then arent centered properly).
Not to mention even if you CAN pen medium armour you do reduced damage - so if the weapons base damage is lower as a result of balancing its pen then its still pretty bad for killing medium armoured enemies.
Which zoom range are you seeing the drift at? I think, weirdly enough, at the max 100m zoom the reticle is almost spot on. The other two zooms are off, so I dunno. Maybe try it in full zoom? Because nothing is better than aiming at a scavenger eating your shins with a 100m zoom scope so you can REALLY make sure you're aiming at it.
@@steeljawX Max range zoom it definitely goes high and it seems like it goes slightly to the right, about as much to the right as the AMR goes to the left.
But honestly it could be to do with the sway.
Worth noting that Medium Pen is useful but not necessarily for the ability to pierce Medium Armor, rather that it can pen Light Armor and deals 100% of its damage. The problem with that? There's not a lot of enemies with Light Armor and any with no armor would be taking full damage regardless, hence why it feels lacking within its niche.
The other Medium Pen options typically deal enough damage to bruteforce kills, thus feel more impactful while the Adjudicator is left trying to specialize in killing essentially Brood Commanders & Nursing Spewers.

Stun stun stun grenades....To get VERY close and have that SWEET pinpoint accuracy that those Marksman rifles are famous for especially when you are in their face! But what if god forbids you ran out of magical stun grenades? I think your bestest option is to Melee them with the AdJudasTraitor and then Call in for enforsement! Bestest weapon EVA not even Top tier but S-TEAR !!

I just take fortified armor, jump on my stomach and 1 shot 1 kill for headshots and 2 shots when hitting the body for small units. Can easily snipe other targets as well. I like the gun a lot, just wish it had a bit more damage. Imo the recoil is fine, just don't use auto unless in CQC. Its a well ballanced gun that compliments the Autocannon + Laser + Eagle Airstrike + Railcannon strike. Sometimes I take the Spear and the Autocannon sentry with it. EDIT: I don't use it on bugs.

I use this more as an assault than an DMR, but the mag size is more painful than the recoil itself, id rather using my AR 23 liberator, does the same job, more controllable, more ammo, btw adjucator needs a buff cause its so cool....
I agree, based on it's stats and the gameplay on my video... It makes more an AR than DMR
its decent, better than the lb penetrator against bugs, but still bad control and too little magazine and terrible against bots

I used it for two days. I usually use the “concussive” liberator or the knight. And i run out of ammo with the adjudicator way faster than the knight and thats crazy!!! Lmao they really dropped the ball on the adjudicator. I understand the recoil hight due to caliber but Jesus the marksmen rifles suck compared to one from hd1, that was special because of the toxic rounds and armor piercing. I really wanted to use it but its useless for my play style. Im a run and gunner. The adjudicator is for marksmen solely.
