We Cuban refugees should be very proud of Mr Navarro’s accomplishments. It was that particular generation that came to this country penniless and with hard work and sacrifice reach for the stars and lived the American dream. Miami was a sleepy town that the Cubans turned into a thriving metropolis.

I cannot imagine the horror of seeing your own handler approach you to betray your own country as, from the moment you are being approached, your life is on the line. Your handler is someone you should be able to trust with your own life. Who do you turn to, when your own handler is dirty?

Being a mother of 4 adult children, grandmother of 7 grandkids I tend to lean and listen to your advice it's always a good idea to be able to understand and read people. Although most often I can level a person with that motherly look. 😂 But I tend to ignore the lies and let people continue with their whole story 😊

But Americans did not appreciate the gesture, did not give such scheme. Ah, the presentatio - that interesting.

I know, there's a lot of other sh88 that makes no sense.... i.e. disney film when micro-film was around since wwii, walked into apartment and found x and then later in q&a no he didn't find anything, the only map he could get was a road map when we were flying u-2's, a-12s, sr-71's and spy satellites well before 1985
...the reason, however, is likely the version he was allowed to print had to fill large gaps that USIC redacted after reviewing his book transcript so he filled it with non-factual garbage....or his editor advised him to dramatize and simply the story for sales

If you listen, he's talking about customs. He's talking about someone at customs getting suspicious about the Disney films and trying to watch them. I really doubt that the customs people anywhere on the planet in those days had video tape players where they could spend time watching films people were carrying across borders, just in case they had something illegal on the film. A Disney film seems fairly innocuous when you're crossing borders and might have your luggage searched. Microfilm, on the other hand, might raise a little suspicion if you were stopped and searched.

Plan 10-1outlined the specific German towns to be sacrificed in the event an armored Soviet war game turned towards the German border: They would be tactically nuked as a first response and the Soviet KGB agents involved received The Order of Lenin from Kruschev who also received daily briefings.on the operation. The Bader Meinoff Gang was a result of the anti American sentiment that ensued from revealing it. This espionage occurred at a NATO bunker in Orly, France outside of Paris in the early1960’s. An entire American family was destroyed by the fallout from that case. It wasn’t fair to them and the price is still being paid.

@@ChrisMcDonough Do your homework dude. Read up on ADM's (SADM / MADM) and the US 'Green Light Teams' and Engineering Troops stationed in Germany who had Atomic Demolition Munitions as their speciality. I have personal knowledge about this equipment and can guarantee you this is no 'BS'. I actually know exactly what he's referring to when mentioning "Permissive Action Links" in this context. These ADM's were equipped with a very simple mechanical lock - with a numerical code, both on the device and the OPTIONAL remote detonation transmitter. (the primary fusing was done by a simple mechanical timer setable typically up to 12 or 24 hours depending on device type). Besides the numerical code there was an explosive PPG (Pulsed Power Generator) for the firing system, which could be removed from it's storage location under the 'front cover' to make the device 'safe'. This could relatively easily have been substituted with another power source or even a DYI PPG since the firing unit itself didn't need any precision to accomplish implosion. I'm a former Combat Diver - active 1986 - 1995 and I've had 'hands-on' training with these party poppers. To my knowledge, all these ADM's are now dismantled. When they were inventory, their existence were kept secret - at least by my unit, since they were HIGHLY attractive because of their size and (lack of) safings. Some sinister and crafty individual could "easily" have gotten hold of a number of these. It would have been on the same difficulty level as a decent vault robbery with hostage taking for access. Therefore their existence and storage locations were kept on a need to know basis.

Even if departments were pleased at what they received, were there any adrenaline rushes at upper levels (suspected?) at what could so easily have occurred?

He's American, so ignorance is at least possible, but saying the Germans did'nt want Russians on their land anymorewas a bit insulting. Let's remember why the Russians were on their soil in the first place and the acts of total evil depravity they did when they were in Russia.I can't really blame the Russians for hating Germans during the war. Insensitive, quite insulting really...but as I say, he is American.

And during 80's USSR was indeed interested in Western Nuclear weapons readiness. What are NATO actual intentions, Operaton RYAN. During military exercises (e.g. after Able Archer 83 with preventive nuclear strike, Soviets were shitting bricks, and total war against Russians was a reality as World Wars showed) NATO played psycological operations, (let's push russinas one step further). To understand, if it is a actual preparation for attack, or again PSYOPS with codes changing, nuclear bombers flying, leaders hiding in bunkers,) etc it was necessary to know where are western leaders with authority to launch nuclear rockets (babequing, office working, or hiding in bunkers), how prepared are personell to launch rockets (drinking beer with schnapswurst, or ready to live post apocalysis). Reagan was also
    making nervous with his rhetoric.

Not sure, but I gave it a thumbs down, so now, I have to watch it again and see why! The only thing I can think of is that this is a huge story and it should have been given the proper side show.
But, I am here to watch it and will give an update!
Well, I am less than halfway into the story and I can already see why I made that comment! This guy is BORING! He spends too much time on tiny details and kind of loses the main direction! Also,
he should have had better slides, (clearer). Edit again! His way of telling this story is another one that pisses me off! Sometimes, he is slurring his words, I cannot understand the word(s) he is saying and then immediately after that he is shouting the next words. They should have had someone else telling this story!
The very best one was Jonna Mendez; Moscow Rules! Watch that and compare!
I just lost interest right about this time. As I've said, this is a huge story with enormous consequences that would have changed the world as we know it!
He doesn't know how to keep the audience riveted. And this subject is just for that!
But, I am glad I watched it again!
      Thanks
