That shower conversion is awesome. They're clearly picking up on European designs. Good for Winnebago. They're timing could not be better.
Is there any venting for the bathroom?
@@blakeberlin6295 the bathroom has a window.
What a dream machine! I really think the EKKO is going to appeal to a lot of active families like ours who want a smaller vehicle, but who would still like more amenities than would fit in a normal van. Well done!
Thanks! Glad you love it!
It's about flippin time someone built a 21st century Class C RV that's designed for just 1 or 2 people and can also be lived in full-time, off grid!
Its called a uhall ...you can get them all day long!
@@EVILTV666 that's U-Haul 😬
@@paulsuprono7225 not if you buy a hallway with wheels!😊
At 21st century prices. As much as it's got that Ooh, Ahh, factor, not seeing a $150k + price tag as something that will fly off the shelves. You can buy and mod a Wrangler and get one he11 of a off road trailer and still have 50k left over. Nice but over priced.
@@tc1uscg65 Yep, massively overpriced
This is intriguing! Glad to see Winnebago still innovating with new designs and floor plans
Wow..., Winnebago leaned heavily on the European market with the design and layout. Very nice RV! It’s nice to see a US manufactured RV with so much European influence.
I don't think it can have any success in Europe. It does not adopt innovative solutions, on the contrary. On an industrial level, all the electrical parts should change. In Europe, Ford mechanics are not much used, if not by low-level vehicles.
I love the shower/washroom setup. Well designed.
We are LOVING our change from a Revel to the EKKO named OCHO! Leaving for another trip today and there are so many empty cabinet spaces and nothing seems cramped. Thanks Winnebago!! Perfect combination/balance/compromise between size and functionality. Love it!
so glad to see these European designs finally coming to America
me too, looks like Hymer :)
If I wanted a european camper, I'd move to Europe. I'm an American and I like American things. This camper has no personality at all. Forget it.
I love the pull out stove/barbecue.
I wish that they all had full pull out kitchens. When you're camping it's nice to keep as much of the dirt outside as possible. 😎👍
I love products that have a lot of thought put into them. It's clear that Winnebago put a lot of thought into maximizing functionality on this model.
The gear garage is really nice.
This is definitely one of the best small class C or B+ motor homes I’ve seen. The shower /bath is the best layout i have seen in this style of bathroom I personally have seen.
I agree, love that shower set up
Excellent design! So well thought out! That bathroom is ingenious! The sink is like a rotating dental cuspidor - brilliant!
Glad you like it!
I love this RV! The most important thing is my wife loves it also.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR CONGRESS MAN ?
Awesome RV. I love the bed, the bathroom wall that moves around and the table that moves around.
Wow, happy to see this. And it is a true 4 season RV with tons of space and beautiful floor plan.
I applaud Winnebago on their new offerings. I feel they are very functional. I still feel construction wise it's still a box with seams.
Finally interior that doesn’t look so generic ugly masculine!!! Thank you! Love it
Wow! I agree, the shower is perfect, never seen that before! Best shower ever in a motor home
Amazing offering from Winnebago. I had to delete my first comment as I learned that indeed the EKKO offers a powerful Lithium option. By removing the generator you can upgrade the Lithium to a 630 Amp Hour System!! I was hoping at first for a Volta System, however, I believe this is even more power than the Boldt on what looks to be a great build.
Nicely presented video. This is going to do well for Winnebago. It’s a well thought out and crafted RV.
Hello, your video's are so informative, I truly enjoy watching, thank you.
Totally nailed it! AWD, bike garage, perfect space and perfect size. Shut up and take my money!
Love that you're not using a heavily multiplexed Firefly-type system in the van, Simpler is always better, one less thing to go wrong. Thermal pane windows are great. Storage under the bed is cool, and we love the bike storage underneath. Also love that this van is no larger than a Transit van in total height, length and width. Sweet!
This is a amazing floor plan and well designed rv. That Bathroom !! It’s amazing how much more usable space you get for very little added overall width when going with the box chassis over a van. Not to mention the extra insulation, especially important for 4 season use!
The only problem with that is I use our shower for the laundry basket
Thank you for the video. Have a blessed day.
So excited for you! Can’t wait to see yours!
Love the Leisure Travel Vans!
Glad you love it! ❤️
Absolutely beautiful Winnebago did it again
Your presentation is very informative. Thank y’all for your attention to details
Thanks for watching!
Being from Europe, we love the European feel of it! It would fit in really nicely (and still stand out designwise!) 👍❤️
Baldy seems to be excited with everything
Great angle of shot for the awning, we couldn't even see it! Unless I missed it🤷♀️
I stopped the video to make the same comment. I really wanted to see what that looked like
Very nice RV. I'll have to do more research on it.
VERY NICE! I want one.
The curtains dividing the cab from the living area won't work for us, because in a "B" van, the cab is part of the living space. So, we'd just use the usual thermal black-out shades on the windshield and the side windows and keep right on using the cab space with the seats rotated to face the lounge area.
I love this model! Now what about the 25 foot one. Loving to compare. Thank you for sharing and be safe.
Looks like an awesome Baja rig!
Very nice. Would love that.
Love it!
Winnebago steps onto the diamond, but fails to hit it out of the park. Don't get me wrong, this motorhome does have many great features I love: extended seasonality, garage, double pane windows, space saving shower/toilette, ducted air, but it could be so much more. After all this time and with such a huge market awaiting, it feels kind of meh, especially with the generic quality cabinetry. Some of the the European B+'s and small C's are way more innovative, and attractive. Why not a skylight over the cab, or some useful space? The floor level wardrobes are um, well not great ? I would like to see an optional floor plan without the additional seats, but a more comfy small lounge and/or wardrobe or pullout pantry.
@dennytenny There will always be some level of compromise when purchasing a motorhome but some designs make it easier than others to make those choices. To your point regarding having to add 3 more feet to the already 23 foot long EKKO, to get the sought after amenities, I disagree. Here are a few of my favourites, all under 21 feet I believe, (or 6.4 metres for Canadians). Each has it's own ingenious design and sophisticated look. May I point out the convenient and effective windshield and cab window blinds (not a curtain) used by Adria to maximize space usability. Notice the genius of Chausson Flash's Easybox for versatility of garage and interior space, and wonder at Wingamm's inviting interior and integrated descending bed.

This is awesome I love it and is what I want
Welcome to USA Adria! About time...
Nice to see an interior that does not look like a 1970 s basement. About time
😻 love it! 👍
I am glad to finally see that swing wall in the bath area to create a dry bath experience. I saw this on European designed travel vans more than a year ago. US can most often be well behind European manufactures.
Nice except the red ❤ I'm sure that would be easy to change peace thanks for sharing good job!!
Winnebagoooo, steppin it up! not too shabby. now all you need to do is offer that in your AWD EcoBoost and its money
Looks good!
This could be a great option for a family! It would be nice to see one with a cab over bed and made more offgrid.
Great idea! We will pass this information over to our team.
It would be better for me if it had a microwave-convection oven.
It looks like a lot of smart thinking went into this RV. My cousin and her husband are going to pick up their EKKO at the end of the year. It will be their new home as they travel the U.S. I can't wait to see it.,
Nice design!
Woah now that was Nice 💗
Where do people see staples? I keep pausing the video anytime they open a cabinet or drawer but I can't see anything.
Impressive!
Whats so nice about this is it looks and feels so comfortable and cozy. Is this a l bad motel 6 room rv?
Before the remodeld rooms!
Ya know... I'd be a lot more impressed if that swinging wall in the bathroom opened up to another dimension. ;) lol
It does... the Shower dimension, where everything is wet, but your troubles go down the drain.
Space shuttle or a UFO? I'm right there with you! "Stop the World, I Want to Get Off!"....
It’s a Tardis bathroom! Well maybe.....
@@marthadevelasco6943 Ah, a Doctor Who fan! Lol...
I predict that you will sell a lot of of EKKO’s! It offers a lot of great innovations. I did notice a potential problem with location of the 2 jump seats. Whoever sits in the one closest to the drivers side will rub their left leg on the table when it is down. Solution would be to put both seats on a sliding tract that would enable both seats to slide to the left 6 to 8 inches and lock when occupied and then release and slide back when not in use. Seat belts could be anchored to the frame. Would love to purchase one but is way out of my price range. We bought a 2017 Coachmen 27qb earlier this year( pre-covid) and have camped 19 times this year. Keep up the good work!
Would love to see larger floor plan!
I've seen that pivoting washroom in European RVs
I like it i will pick it up Tuesday lol.
would you consider adding mounting points to the walls in the bedroom so no holes need to be drilled when someone wants to make use of the space? May be also additional low gauge cables to the garage area - it may be perfect for DIY additional battery. also may be a pet door thru the screen.
Oh it's perfect!
I love it overall I just wish that the cab match the back
Luv It!!!
Thanks for the love!
Well that's quite a coincidence that the Fit RV duo was doing a series on choosing a new RV...and surprise, their top two choices were both Winnebago products...and bigger surprise, Winnebago releases, at the exact perfect time, a brand new model that fits their desired specifications perfectly. What a stroke of luck for them.
Sure there was no bias there.... Hmmmm
Unfortunately, that whole “walk around presentation” came off way too canned! It felt like a cheaply made infomercial! The “shoppers” were extreme overacting! One second, they were explaining features and benefits, and then the next second, they’re acting all surprised about something! We are very experienced RV’ers and Boaters, and we have purchased many RV’s, Boats and personal vehicles, including 3 Winnebago products. We much prefer a factual, clearly explained features and benefits walk around by an experienced, professional product specialist, with none of the Hollywood “flare” thrown in! We won’t hesitate walking out and never returning to a dealership if were be helped by some guy that responds to all of our questions with, “that’s an awesome question!!!!”, or calls me Bro! or my wife Mama or Darling!😉
I like the bathroom flip to shower. Like it is a casette toilet. Like the cargo space and it is a Ford so how much ?
Interesting... Advanced RV announced their B-Box a couple of weeks ago, which is the same style (box on a Sprinter chassis)
Spies are everywhere!
Once you have the image of converted ambulance, postal delivery, U-Haul in the brain it's had to get excited about this.
I love it. Absolutely what I have been waiting for. For the money though I don't see why they can't match the gray color on the exterior.
7:49 FYI James, it’s a towel hook in the bathroom, as why would you need to hang your coat up in there⁉️ 😆
Also, the whole bahtroom area (water closet w/o a bath/shower) is the lavatory; as the sink alone isn’t a lavatory❗️😉
Also I’d like to have a pull out tray where the outside kitchen is and use my own Engel unit for extra refrigerator/freezer space.
LOVE THIS CONCEPT! I'm so glad to see you guys release this hot on the heals of the extraordinary ARV BBOX.
WHAT I LOVE!
Size/form factor... it's perfect.
Garage... I think this is a must on an RV, room for the expensive bikes to be stored/secured inside.
The bathroom is ingenious.
WHAT I DISLIKE!
Mismatched/unbalanced mix of colors on the exterior.
The hard black outlines of all the doors against the cream background on the box.
Awings... why do all RVs have awnings!?!?!
The fact this is more expensive than the Leisure travel vans!!!
The two extra passenger seats, it's a two person RV and you've got four seats? That space could have been used for something else.
This last one above just makes me think that there cold be a way better overall design of this if they committed to this being a two person RV.
I hope to see more of this model in the future!
I agree across the board on this list.
I like it expect for the lounge seats. If I ever bought one i would change them out, they look like airplane seats.
I agree, they look like airplane seats but this RV is awesome!
Wonder what there mark up is on the cutting board sink I can get from Walmart for 10 bucks.
My favorite new RV, hands-down. I would modify a couple of things, but that's me: Put a standard queen-sized mattress in back, which eliminates the drawers but would have huge under-bed storage and full-height wardrobe space. Now if only Winnebago would sell me matching cabinet material so I can make them!
Love this. Is it possible to configure the second row of seats into a bed for a 3rd, small, person? I never understood 2 extra seats with seatbelts, but no where for 2 extra passengers to sleep. I know Sprinter makes a bed kit for the front cab, but unlike other Winnebagos, this one does not appear to convert to a bed with the 2 extra seats. Is it an option?
I thought the same thing. Although I believe a pop top is an option to sleep more, have you considered making the second row seats into a dinette configuration behind the two cab seats? With the cab seats swiveled around, could a very comfortable dining table for 4. Then at night that could easily flip into a small twin. And a rear bath. 🙂 could be Ekko 22B?
Does it have auto start gen to keep it cool if you bring pets along
You didn't talk about the fact that when you have water hooked up you have a door flopping open. I didn't see a latch of any kind to hold that door open so the wind doesn't blow in back and forth, slamming against the hoses and camper side.
Will the main passenger side awning be equipped with a win sensor
I want it! Send me one and film some trail guides in it! 😃
When can we see photos/video of the alternate layout with dry bath?
Does anybody know how much insulation the pop-top will have? Some pop-tops in Colorado come with a layer to keep as much heat as possible inside. Having a four seater and 2 inches of insulation do not make sense if the pop-top is Kleenex thick. Thanks a lot in advance!
i wonder... with battery power.. how long can the air con turn on? with all the fridge and stuff
Love it when can I get mine?
OMG!!! AN OUTDOOR KITCHEN?! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! This is my first look at this rig so I'm not sure about the chassis or fuel etc.. but I had to chime in and thank you for addressing my biggest need - OUTDOOR COOKING. Oh, btw, what side is the generator on? PLEASE tell me it's on the drivers side. Thanks again!
Great home on wheels
Thank you!
Is the dump compartment heated or at least the dump valve
Interior colors are straight out of the 1970s, cheap drawer construction, needs slam lock doors and is there Azdel? Transit on the 8 cyl? Are there auto cruise, collision avoidance, lane keeping and rear cross vehicle detection? Are both coach seats power adjustable and is there. Place for the passenger to work?
Now I just need that lucky lottery ticket...
Ever thought of including cabin footage, like gps/back up camera, what if feels like to be in the driver's seat? Just a thought.
What about the optional pop top i cant see anything anywhere
The trim behind the driver's seat also has huge gaps around the 2 screws that hold in in place.
Yep. I saw that. Really ugly construction "quality" there.
I would agree wholeheartedly if this was a production unit. We can be reasonable, though, and give grace for a concept unit. The first production unit isn’t scheduled to come out until spring 2021.
This is really cool! I'm a gimmick junky, and there are plenty here for me to explore and love 💘 That bathroom is awesome!! Wait...where's the solar??
Go to James and Steph's YT site "The Fit RV" and you'll find more about the solar.
It has plenty. ua-cam.com/video/_Vl-x6dot-8/v-deo.html
All of the joinery is staples and nails no dove tail anywhere?
Is this built on the Extended AWD High Roof Chassis? If not, is that available?
This reminds me of the Coachmen Cross Trek! Especially the outside storage!
I like it. Lots of cool features for my life style. Would I pick this over the Revel?
Not as manoeuvred as Revel due to the size.
@@JD-kf2ki agreed the more I look at it, it still won’t work for me. I have to sleep 2 adults 2 kids so for now I’m stuck with my 21yr old 150k mile class C
11:46 What’s the tow capacity since it has a trailer brake⁉️ 🤔💭🧐
How many pin wiring harness⁉️ Tow hitch included⁉️
The EKKO hitch is rated at 5,000 lbs, but capacity depends on weight of coach and GCWR. A standard tow hitch is included!
