I woke up this morning after having a dream where I was on board a float in a parade. Everyone was cheering as my float came to the end of the parade. I wanted to add to your community post, Kim, about the deer with what I experienced. I woke up at 4:30 am WIDE awake this morning and could not fall back to sleep for no reason at all. My mind just felt alert. Eventually, I decided to just get up and make a cup of coffee to start my morning. It was misty rain where I live in Illinois this morning so I opened the shade on my bay window to watch the weather for a bit from the couch. As I was watching the outside, I was surprised to see a Barn Owl land on a branch in my front yard for a moment before flying off (most likely on the hunt for a meal of field mice). I know owls also carry HEAVY symbolism for intuition and wisdom, so... perhaps this owl came as a reminder for me to remain grounded in my own intuition right now. So, between your story about the deer and mine with the Owl... it just made a very interesting connection in my head about what we're being told from God/the Universe. I'm still praying! 🙏
My morning was the same. Except for the owl. I did see an owl at a small zoo in a Christmas exhibit I went to with my family on Friday night. I could see the owl sitting back in the tree. I agree, I do believe there is a lesson here, may be even more than one. For those of us who knew better (NOT to vote for 45; We are NOT going back), it’s not him that’s our lesson, I think ours might have more to do with faith/patience/fighting for the good of humanity/the need to stick together and keep fighting against oppression regardless who gets in/etc, whereas with the MAGAs, it’s their FAFO period, although unfortunately there are still some that think he would do just fine and people are wrong for being scared because they brush off anyone who disagrees with them as being overdramatic and “misinformed”, and still make excuses for him and are still as ignorant and uneducated as ever. They do need to know the truth about him, we need to return emphasis on the importance of education, accurate trustworthy news and journalism vs biased partisan propaganda, learn to recognize propaganda tactics, learn to actually work together- because I think we ALL want and value the same things; we all want what’s best for our country, but 45 and that humanoid bottle of vodka (evil Russian dictator) infiltrated and warped everything and effed up a lot of people’s perception of reality and it’s not going to be easy to simply undo that damage. IF he gets in, this will never happen, we would be stuck in this never ending cycle of misinformation, propaganda, gaslighting, and the death of democracy and education as we know it, because even with a blue congress/senate/etc, even with other world leaders giving him Hell, he’s still gonna make himself the perpetual victim and the propaganda will never stop; the excuses for him will be nonstop, protestors and actual educated experts are not going to be taken seriously, anyone who speaks out against him or the misinformation will not be taken seriously, and the division between Americans will probably be worse. More suppression. And even if his plans get thwarted-no matter how old and lazy he is, his minions will just latch onto the surface level fact that none of his ‘evil deeds’ never happened as a reason to mock us for being overdramatic and lying when we weren’t. And when 2026/2028 come around, our votes won’t mean jack, democracy will merely be propped up as a tool to gaslight us just bc the various parties are still listed, but if you look at Russian elections, a Trump/Vance/Musk regime “election” will follow in those footsteps. We’re just a bunch of peasants to them, they don’t care about us. We would never be able to vote our way out of a dictatorship and I won’t lie, all of this scares the sh*t out of me. I think another lesson, regardless how you voted is, that we as a people need to come together and save ourselves; politicians and billionaires aren’t going to save us; Kamala nor Trump won’t save us. Which considering how the MAGAs look up to him, they need that wake up call as well. We don’t view Kamala as the second coming of Christ like they view him, we don’t worship her like they do him, we see her as a human being just like us. We see logic, reason, compassion and decency, but by no means is she perfect. They see him as perfect and incapable of making mistakes. But neither him nor Musk or any billionaire is going to come to their rescue, just like Kamala and Tim for us. Granted, we’d be much better off with Kamala, but that’s not the point. Regardless who gets in, it’s still up to us to keep pushing forward and fighting for justice and humanitarian efforts. I hate going down that spiral of a hypothetical regime, I know my Guides advised against it-that I should be focused on what I want instead, but that’s just my own sense of logic and overthinking brain acting up, especially when the anxiety gets to me. It’s a valid feeling to be scared, anxious, or hopeless, because we know how much of a nightmare that regime would be, and the idea of setting ourselves up for disappointment from waiting for something that never comes is a terrifying thought. There’s too many what-ifs and it makes it hard to trust. I totally get it. That’s why it’s important to focus on self care at this time. I keep trying to reassure myself that regardless of who gets in, I will still be okay, because we can’t make excuses for why our lives are a certain way, regardless who is president. It’s our lives, it’s up to us to make the most of it while we can. But at the end of the day, I pray that truth, justice, and democracy prevails 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🗽💙🕊️☮️🫣

I agree, I do believe there is a lesson here, may be even more than one. For those of us who knew better (NOT to vote for 45; We are NOT going back), it’s not him that’s our lesson, I think ours might have more to do with faith/patience/fighting for the good of humanity/the need to stick together and keep fighting against oppression regardless who gets in/etc, whereas with the MAGAs, it’s their FAFO period, although unfortunately there are still some that think he would do just fine and people are wrong for being scared because they brush off anyone who disagrees with them as being overdramatic and “misinformed”, and still make excuses for him and are still as ignorant and uneducated as ever.
They do need to know the truth about him, we need to return emphasis on the importance of education, accurate trustworthy news and journalism vs biased partisan propaganda, learn to recognize propaganda tactics, learn to actually work together- because I think we ALL want and value the same things; we all want what’s best for our country, but 45 and that humanoid bottle of vodka (evil Russian dictator) infiltrated and warped everything and effed up a lot of people’s perception of reality and it’s not going to be easy to simply undo that damage. IF he gets in, this will never happen, we would be stuck in this never ending cycle of misinformation, propaganda, gaslighting, and the death of democracy and education as we know it, because even with a blue congress/senate/etc, even with other world leaders giving him Hell, he’s still gonna make himself the perpetual victim and the propaganda will never stop; the excuses for him will be nonstop, protestors and actual educated experts are not going to be taken seriously, anyone who speaks out against him or the misinformation will not be taken seriously, and the division between Americans will probably be worse. More suppression.
And even if his plans get thwarted-no matter how old and lazy he is, his minions will just latch onto the surface level fact that none of his ‘evil deeds’ never happened as a reason to mock us for being overdramatic and lying when we weren’t. And when 2026/2028 come around, our votes won’t mean jack, democracy will merely be propped up as a tool to gaslight us just bc the various parties are still listed, but if you look at Russian elections, a Trump/Vance/Musk regime “election” will follow in those footsteps. We’re just a bunch of peasants to them, they don’t care about us. We would never be able to vote our way out of a dictatorship and I won’t lie, all of this scares the sh*t out of me.
I think another lesson, regardless how you voted is, that we as a people need to come together and save ourselves; politicians and billionaires aren’t going to save us; Kamala nor Trump won’t save us. Which considering how the MAGAs look up to him, they need that wake up call as well. We don’t view Kamala as the second coming of Christ like they view him, we don’t worship her like they do him, we see her as a human being just like us. We see logic, reason, compassion and decency, but by no means is she perfect. They see him as perfect and incapable of making mistakes. But neither him nor Musk or any billionaire is going to come to their rescue, just like Kamala and Tim for us. Granted, we’d be much better off with Kamala, but that’s not the point. Regardless who gets in, it’s still up to us to keep pushing forward and fighting for justice and humanitarian efforts. I hate going down that spiral of a hypothetical regime, I know my Guides advised against it-that I should be focused on what I want instead, but that’s just my own sense of logic and overthinking brain acting up, especially when the anxiety gets to me. It’s a valid feeling to be scared, anxious, or hopeless, because we know how much of a nightmare that regime would be, and the idea of setting ourselves up for disappointment from waiting for something that never comes is a terrifying thought. There’s too many what-ifs and it makes it hard to trust. I totally get it. That’s why it’s important to focus on self care at this time. I keep trying to reassure myself that regardless of who gets in, I will still be okay, because we can’t make excuses for why our lives are a certain way, regardless who is president. It’s our lives, it’s up to us to make the most of it while we can. But at the end of the day, I pray that truth, justice, and democracy prevails 🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🗽💙🕊️☮️🫣
