Probably because they don't want to be confused for being gay.
Because they cost a fortune, especially at this level of detail. This build was probably $150k including the cost of the car.

Well my step kids now hate me… playing this at 1am with the surround sound on max just to hear all the sounds… ah well they’re young they can lose sleep. I love how this came out and how you brought the 2022 tech into it. Craig nailed it when “things I didn’t care about 20 years ago aren’t in here, like modern cars.” Facts older cars just are more at one with the drivers than modern cars. Modern cars don’t feel as connected as old ones did.
haha...It's great you got to wake them up for once. We are all sure they've kept you up before! We love a little of modern and more classic. That's why this Supra looks like Craig's but sure doesn't perform like his!

You can't see them all because they repurpose some from the first movie into 2fast. Yep Slapjack is driving the same Supra with different paint. Dom's RX, OJ was too scared to jump the bridge in the race. Johnny Trans S2000 that beat Jessie is what Suki drove.

The Supra is a legend. This Supra holds a special place in all our hearts. This is a recreation of Craig's original car.
The engine sound is so satisfying. My favourite ride from Fast and Furious movies.
You are not alone! The engine still sends the hair on our arms straight up. Alex just has way more hair on his so it's more noticeable.

We tend to lean on less FWD cars when we can. But who knows? We are having a lot of fun going down this rabbit hole.
The Supra was always my favorite car in the movies. I was sad it didn't get more screen time. A close second was the GTR because those two cars are so unique.
That's so strange right? The 10 second car comment was made toward the beginning of the movie and then the car is made and drives off into the sunset with Dom behind the wheel. Maybe Dom still has it?

Hey just driven I know eclipse build insist ready but quick question do you the sparco harness on the eclipse build on the fast and furious I found very good condition sparco harness for the eclipse on ebay
Hi Neftali. Good looking out! We don't have the Sparco harnesses yet. All the ones similar to screen used we've found are fakes. We did find a single OG screen accurate, but ideally we want a matching set...the search continues. Send that ebay link please! info@justdriven.com

If it was much lower the road would bust the bumper all to pieces. Sometimes you have to do the logical thing. 👍
The suspension is adjusted so we don't get it caught on anything.
That's cool to see who was so far ahead on a trend that they made a movie with it.
Only thing I was ahead on was wearing DC before it was even DC, Droors Clothing, that's what the D and the C are from.

Do you need any help on locating any of the NEON lighting for the upcoming 2 Fast 2 Furious Skyline tribute build?...
Man, I can not tell you how happy it would make me to get to be a part of bringing that ones Audio/Video and ESPECIALLY the lighting portion of that build to life! I literally live and breathe and was put here on this earth to do that style of lighting and wiring work!!! I've been doing that stuff for years and years and have always had the final goal of being able to help out by doing all the lighting in one of those Skyline builds; but not just a generic cheaply put together one, no, I want to only do it in the highest of quality builds out there of one! The devil's in the details for me! I could die a happy man if I got to do all the lighting on it and get to see it all finished up in the final product glowing in person once completed! It'd take several days of nice neat work to do it all 100% properly, but man, that'd be all a labor of love for me! That's a job I would/could absolutely do for free just for the pleasure of the experience haha...

It's A Left Hand Drive, But In Fast and Furious Movie, Brain's Supra Is Right Hand Drive
His car is not a RHD in the movie. The gentleman in this video owned the original Supra from the films. His car was not. Do you remember him at the stop light with the Ferrari? He looked at the Ferrari driver OVER Vin Diesel. Vin would be in the driver seat if it was RHD.

Where’d u get the blue Sparco steering wheel
The wheel was purchased through Sparco and the leather was replaced with the blue alcantara.
Sad day it was when I heard Paul Walker had died in the car accident. I’m sure he’d love what you’ve all done. Kudos guys.

After watching this series I ended up buying another 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution similar to the one I owned brand new in 2003. I’m also currently gathering up parts to replicate the original Evo but I think I’m going to make some subtle changes. It’s crazy to think it was 20 years ago when I had the first car and it sucks when you realize some parts have been discontinued for 10 to 15 years. If you are lucky to find the exact parts, they are normally all beaten up and don’t work like they are supposed to. I was lucky to already find some very rare OEM parts so I’m happy about that but there are several more parts to locate
That's great you picked up another Evo! Those are difficult to find, and we imagine the parts are just as if not more difficult to find! We had similar difficulty with out Supra (and our Eclipse) build. The parts are discontinued or just impossible to find.
@@JustDriven well luckily I didn’t really do anything crazy with body kits or custom wheels when I had my original Evo but it’s funny how OEM accessories that were offered through the dealership suddenly seem impossible to find. I was very lucky to find an OEM pedal kit and door sill scuff plates that were never mounted and pristine but there are other items like white faced auto meter pro comp ultra lite boost and air fuel ratio gauges with a white face instead of the silver that just don’t exist anymore. I’ve found one so far and it is heavily chewed up and most likely wouldn’t work. There are a few other OEM accessories that I’m still hunting down but I did find something I never thought would be possible. Across the dash there was trim that is grey in color from the factory. On my original Evo I bought some Duplicolor high temp blue engine paint that was a perfect match for the exterior color and it had a matte finish. That paint was discontinued 10 or more years ago and I was able to find the same exact can of paint that was never used and now I can paint that same trim in the exact shade of blue as my original one
@@JustDriven luckily at least for motor mods both the Supra, the Eclipse and Evo still have tons of aftermarket support but finding 20 year old parts are still a challenge

We have applied some coating to the whole car. Lots of money tied up in that paint.
