Hysterical! A big nest of tiny little orb spiders scrambling and swinging about.

These little garden spider babies (Arigope aurantia) are great. Harmless by all means, and great bug eaters when mature. When grown, they make big, beautiful, symmetrical orb webs. I discovered a good sized nest of babies near my porch railing, and gave them a little poke, plus blew a little air on them. They would dive for cover on a thread of silk, then haul themselves back up into the nest! Hysterical. The next day, you can see the nest splits into two discreet nests. After a few days, they had all moved on. Good luck arachnids!!
