Honestly Mercy has been kinda shafted by the games direction, which is a good one, theyre just dragging their feet updating her so she is super behind in terms of her gameplay design. Its why she so difficult to balance for them. In order to win as mercy if your teammates arent just carrying you have to squeeze out every tiny decimal point of value from her kit and its exhausting.
Awkward is unbelievably skilled, but the constant whining about the "counterpicking not existing" and then proceeding to lose with suboptimal heroes and win with optimal ones is just silly

Mercy is a "carry me" character. I kill them first just because I already know they are low skilled and ez picks. That's why they play mercy. Then they always do the Moira switch after a few deaths 😂
@@HoLeeSheet117 its not dropped the first video you can see its doing the md10, because of the soft reset with normalization its normal to end like diamant/master in the end (even if you full win) others like flats and jay had the same, after the md10 they take some time to go back to original ranks, if you see the awkward main right now its top 10
It's mostly about the flight movement and managing the priority of the moment, including when to pull out the gun. Though I do agree with you, it's not a high impact role 80% of the time. Is nice for cruising on games though, but not for carrying.
As a mercy main I can say it's when the fights get intense, when it relies on me as mercy to survive to win the fight. Those games are like survival/emergency medic games. Granted that's not every moment of the game, but possibly OT or contesting times
@@CeciDoesNailswinning fights relies more on the rest of your team surviving since they’re the ones that get the kills. And if the mostly pocketed dps is seen to be questionable, it’s just not worth playing mercy at that point

Playing Mercy always feels like you're begging your team to pop off. And 50% of the time your Widow/Ashe can't hit a shot.

When he's playing on high level games then counterpick matters, however in low ranks it doesn;t as people can't often take advantage of that "counter"
