You boys got it made , and get to do all the fun stuff. Drive truck , run a bunch of equipment, chainsaws , carry on and aggervate each other. I wish I lived closer I’d try to come work with y’all.
I see y’all have folks selling BBQ on the side of the road like we do in SC. Hell I just thought that was a Carolina thing. Looking forward to the stickers getting here. Also looking forward to the Friday update video.
I'm not gonna lie I used hate International, but I was forced to buy one for my first truck... I refused so much and I wanted a MACK or kenworth... best damn purchase I have made. BUT the help from International is pathetic, they will not or they refuse to give it part numbers... that's the only downside of them, idk if it's like that for other truck brands. Good thing cummins does help
You kinda make me miss the time I use to drive tandem axle dumps. It was fun but I could not stand other drivers cutting in and out of traffic, cutting you off and general stupidness. I respect truck drivers who drive every day, it can be a mentally taxing job dealing with the other idiots on the roads.
The Jake brake only works when you take your foot off the throttle and then depending on how high the rpms are the the Jake will either hit hard or just a little. If you leave the Jake on and go to shift up or down it can cause difficulty when shifting and make the gears a little harder to change. But as far as affecting the horsepower it doesn't affect it only slows the truck down. Hope this helps
@@dozingnsloping6814 Thanks Dozing. I guess I just wondered if the jake brake switch could be left on and it would only work when slowing down. I see a logger I watch turning it on and off a lot when he's on a hilly winding road.
@@jbmbanter yes sir you are very welcome the switch can be left on and used when your foot is taken off the accelerator but most truckers don't leave them on all the time we only turn them on when we need them
“Mama didn’t wanna do any jake brake videos. She said she had a headache” 🤣 that line will never get old

Put a 80 mm compressor wheel on the turbo that will wake that 6NZ even more give Wade a bigger run for his money on his 7bm
Taters 3406 ain't got a chance as it is
If you accelerate with the Jake break on, does it affect the horsepower? What are you hauling?
