How is it that I'm such a Rose McIver fan and I didn't know she was from New Zealand? I started watching Ghosts because of her. Stayed for the great show though!
Johnny Kapahala!! It was my introduction to the legend Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as a kid! Both movies were at the top of my watchlist for when Disney+ first became available haha
I didn’t know Rose is actually New Zealender with Kiwi/Aussie accent 😮 I thought she was american consider that she’s acted as an american lady who happen to be Queen of Aldovia 😂
Ghosts is a remake of a recent BBC comedy of the same name and exact same premise - it's very funny and i'm surprised they didn't give it any credit here. I haven't seen the American version (only heard of it because of this interview) but the British version is very good, would highly recommend it - it's made by the same team that do Horrible Histories (which is another BBC show, it's aimed at kids but it's actually very funny for adults too).
The British version is written by the writers of Paddington 2 and Horrible Histories. One thing I hate about American remakes is the racism of the American media always removing black men as the romantic leads in the American versions. So in the USA version the husband is no longer a black man. They did the same in the American version of Utopia they white washed the black male lead to be white in the USA version and they did the same with popular 1990s comedy Red Dwarf. What is up with the American media fear and insecurity about heterosexual black male sexuality? It is pathetic in American shows they always make the black guy the gay best friend 🤦♂️
@@Tao_Tology the concern is white American male insecurity, because American media have no problem with interracial couples in mainstream shows and films if the man is white. They call that plantation mentality of Hollywood where it is okay and mainstream if it is an interracial couple where the main is white and the woman is black, but it becomes non-mainstream and taboo if it is a white woman with a black man, despite the statistical fact that white women with black men is more one of the most common interracial relationships in the USA. There is agenda behind this because it took till 2019 to have a black man as the bachelor in the USA.
@@MaxTheRoonDog there a bigger agenda in the American media not to show white women in loving relationship with black men so changing a black character into another minority is a form of racism.
I did a painting once and hid Rose McIver's name in it. She floored me with how stunning she was (is) in Once Upon a Time, I instantly fell in love. I didn't recognize her here lmao but she looks just as beautiful.
A few days ago I was kept awake at night for a new nights due to racoons in my attic. Here's how I got rid of them and I didn't have to buy radios. I ordered two large jars of ground cayenne pepper. I got 4 big rags and wet them and rung them out and sprinkled ground cayenne pepper all over them. I climbed a step ladder up to the opening of the attic. I balled up each rag and threw it into the corner over my bedroom. Then I sprinkled it all around the attic opening without going up into the attic myself. That night I heard nothing and I've heard nothing since. I don't have a clue how they got up there. But I don't think they will come back.
It's clearly stated that it's a remake, everywhere. Just because they didn't go into that in the 14 seconds they talk about her show here, doesn't mean they're taking credit for the concept. The creators of the original BBC version help produce and make the CBS version. Obviously
She was amazing in iZombie, one of the most underrated shows of the last ten years
Agreed
She also played Summer in Power Rangers RPM
Yes!!!
Don't forget she play summer the yellow ranger from power rangers RPM
Horribly underrated!!! I'm going through it for my second time now! With the right support they could have at least got two more seasons.

I liked the American version was better.

@@Delboy0 Using an Indian actor instead of black actor is not white washing, or racist.

Had a dog that would chew on the wood posts outside. Parents put hot sauce on the poles. Made him like it even more. :D
THAT'S HER REAL ACCENT WAAAHT
Wait! I remember that Disney channel movie, lol. The original was amazing, sequel not so much.

I wonder if Tony hawks a conservative?
i never knew raccoons are atheists
I love how she talks about that Johnny movie but Brandon Baker is underrated even on this day smh
i can understand it if it was a muslim radio
Number 2 great show!!🌹💖🦋🇺🇸🇺🇦
They’ve remade Ghosts? Why can’t Americans watch the BBC original? It’s not as though it’s not in English.
We can. And we can also enjoy BOTH of them. Because they are different, just like we can enjoy the US Office and the UK office
Wow... The writers/producers of this "Ghosts" show should sue the BBC for stealing their idea. 4 years ago.....
CBS paid to adapt it. BBC Studios America helps make it.
