- Getting the season kicked off with a solid day 1. Made this adjustment and moved into an area that I caught them good during practice and it paid off. Sitting in 8th place after day 1.

Man I pray every day to get a LS but just can't afford it. Dude I would love to have one so bad. Then I see people mad about it. It makes no sense dude it would help locate the fish first but then you still got to make them bite so I don't see why they hate it so much. MDJ, What I'm gonna say ain't baggin' on you bro', but the way this video is shot is exactly why MLF/BASS viewers say why watching tournaments now is so boring. You've no doubt heard on social media everybody griping about how boring it is to watch an angler stare at his LS all day. Even worse, is that it is true. It is about on par with watching paint dry. So, how to make it more exciting?? Well, Foutz (yea him) and Milliken have figured it out, even if they know it or not. They shot a couple of videos that use this method and it works (I'll link the videos at the end). They put what is seen on the LS screen as the foreground and put the FPV of what the angler sees in a small canton at the edge of the screen. This allows us the viewer to see what you the angler sees.
The thing that makes any media, be it TV. movies, books, sports. fishing or whatever it is, interesting is the NOT KNOWING what is going to happen next. A suspense factor. If we're seeing the FFS view, we can see the environment and see what the bait and the fish is doing. The suspense is what is the fish going to do. Is he going to smash the bait, run at it and the last minute break off, run from it, ignore it and based on all those factors, what are you as the angler going to do to adjust. Now THAT is worth watching.
It may behoove you to learn this and adjust you videoing accordingly. As we all know, Boyd's checks are on shaky ground and if he goes belly up, there ain't going to be a enough life jackets to go around. Just something to think about, my man.
