    All these names are so familiar to me as live in the Bridgend area. My step parents used to talk about the Bridgend asluym as grew up in that area Sarn. Enjoyed the video 😊 definitely a mixture of emotions there I can image being in one

    Caswell clinic is a medium secure psychiatric unit for mentally disordered offenders (by no means low level criminals) believe me. Taith Newydd is a separate low secure unit, and as you alluded to there is a dementia unit in Glanrhyd also.

    Parc, Glanrhyd and Pen y Fai were collectively known as Morgannwg Hospital. Glanrhyd was known as Angelton until renamed in 1948 when NHS was created.
    Pen y Fai was completely demolished and iis now a housing estate.
