Making a Miniature Stove for Grandma's Living Room

Hello, welcome and welcome to my new subscribers! Today, I make a miniature stove for Grandma's living room. It isn't perfect but, I am very pleased with the way it turned out. I lost a bit of footage where I put the "fire'" in, sorry about that. I might have thought I was recording but, wasn't, also. Maybe the creative slump is over?

Thank you,. I like the way the fire looks too, it turned out better than I thought since I have never made hot glue flames before.

It turned out adorable!! ❤ You did such a great job! I have never thought about really burning the logs. I like that idea a lot! I also think making flames with hot glue is a great idea too! Now grandma can stay warm and toasty in her cozy living room! Looks like you are over your creative slump.

Thank you, Laura and I hope the slump is gone. I have always been one that does better when I have a specific thing in mind that I just feel compelled to make, if that makes any sense. I also do better without creating a pattern and I think that is because, if I have a pattern, then I feel like it has to be that way but, if I just go with an idea in my head, I feel more free to do whatever I want with it. Crazy but, that is how I am. I have burnt the logs before and liked how they turned out, gives it just a touch of realism.

@@MiniatureMadnessofcherylg2696 You need to do what works for you. If not then it won’t be fun and the motivation won’t be there. I don’t work with patterns either. I usually need something made and I make it. I love my cutting machine it saves me from a lot of pain but you almost have to create a pattern in a round about way or it won’t know what to cut. 😆

@@Lauras-tinyview You are so right. I have a cricut and use it sometimes for things but, not very often. They are great if you need an even circle, etc but, I have never made my own patterns for it. There is no right or wrong, it should all be about creativity and relaxation, at least, that is my opinion.
