It was nice to see these 2 former superstars have a great head to head battle. It was interesting watching their different type of gameplay from their previous prime years and how differently their styles had to be adjusted after their physical issues.
Thanks for posting this. A lot of ppl believe Kemp's career disappeared in the 97+ season, but he was very solid in 97 and 96-98 were the best seasons of his career.
People say when Kemp got to Cleveland was the beginning of the end for him, you could see his bounce started to leave him and that was what he was known for..but he was SO gifted and had a great touch, awesome passer too. Wow.
the #2 seeded 58-24 pacers should've faced the #7 seeded 43-39 knicks and the #3 seeded 55-27 heat should've faced the #6 seeded 47-35 cavs instead of the nba going by divisions
Two of the most popular power forwards of the 90s
Kemp had one of the coolest freethrow shots

SHAWN KEMP, THE REIGN MAN.
It’s wild that Shawn is still only like 27 here

Yeah, he had his highest scoring averege with Cavaliers. When he went to Portland, then he was fat and just a role player.
Yeah i agree with you. It was very odd watching Kemp move so slow on the court. And the guy was just 30 at the time.
did u know the 97 sonics went 6-6 in the playoffs

He had his highest scoring average with the Cavaliers.
do u mean in the 98 playoffs
You can see he was heavier here, but his decline was during the lockout.
Henderson working the baseline like a ninja
Kemp is such an amazing player, if u dont double or triple team him, hes unstoppable. But he really shouldn't have left the sonics...
Defintely..It also sad because you can see the weight gain is effecting his game.He was only 30 and moving nothing like his Seattle days.
Yeah i did notice the good passing and his nice jumpers. Still the Kemp from the 1996 Playoffs and Finals will the best Shawn Kemp
Malaysian Man how could u not like LJ if he never suffered injuries he would’ve been a superstar, injuries hindered his career
Damn Kemp lookin like he got 16 assists on the game lol
Great clip.
Thanks.
nice old school gem
Yeah.
All-around NBA you upload old school highlights?
Yes, I do.
You can definitely tell kemp has lost some quickness and leaping ability in this time
That's when the coke addiction had started. He shouldn't have lost any quickness since he was only 28 and right in the middle of his prime.

Missing blake griffin, zion Williamson, Dominique wilkens and DeAndre jordan
