trent and allie
Your grandma is so sweet and honest. Loved when she used the word "nincompoop", reminded me of my grandma. Oh how I miss her. Love and hugs to your grandma...🤗
I love Trent’s grandparents. They are just the cutest!
They so are!!! 🤗
They have a great sense of humor! 😃
Trent, your Grandma is a true spitfire. She reminds me of my grandma. She truly has a lot of spirit in her and she isn’t afraid to share it.
Please, cherish those times with them , whether you have to sit outside to visit or all sit inside with masks.
You’re a very fortunate young man.
Trent's grandparents are absolutely precious.
Allie you are positively radiant in your joy. Marriage looks beautiful on you and it is heartwarmingly endearing to see the evidence of the love between you both. Trent you look like the cat that’s got the cream, and your consistent manner of hugging Allie clearly states “I will shield and protect you.” I truly wish you many more of the same in the time ahead.
Love Grandma and GrandPa. They were so HAPPY. Some advice: SPEND AS MUCH TIME WITH THEM AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. NOTHING is more important. The old saying - You never know what you have till it's gone - is so true. We always think we have plenty of time until we realize we didn't. Take them to lunch once in a while and spend quality time. You will NEVER regret it!!!
I second that. At some point they will be gone. You don't want to live with one minute of regret!
I am also in agreement. I know you already adore them :) I regret not asking more questions and learning more about their lives growing up, and your parents' lives as well. I missed out on a lot of that. Pick their brains!! Love your video (as always) and I am excited about Terry and your new tiny home! I know Frank will love it too.
I second the blanket idea. I started with none on our new sofa. I wish I would have started it on Day I. (We love our pets too). Your grandparents are absolutely darling. Are you able to figure a way to visit with them outside or some way that you don’t need to worry about spreading Coronavirus to them. One off-beat question: I am intrigued by your wedding rings. Do you mind sharing about them? Congrats on officially being married!
Get a folding chairs & put on their front yard and hang out with grandparents. Have a BBQ and enjoy. Take a break and get know their history. Things can wait but not with people you love because tomorrow will not be promised.
The University of Colorado interviewed my grandfather about growing up in Northern Colorado and it is available online. I love to listen to his German accent that I remember as a kid and my children get to listen to it too! You will cherish having filmed conversations with them for posterity!
Does anyone else hate when the video is about to end. I could watch you two for hours. Lol Allie dancing taking the couch out of the package was to cute. Lol. You guys are making such good progress. Im excited for you guys.
Monday’s and Friday’s are officially my favorite days! I’m finally watching this on Wednesday because my hubby (who is a 72 year old version of Trent) just had heart surgery on Monday. I absolutely love how you work together. You are an amazing team, and I love how Trent protects you Allie. He’s truly a keeper!
I'm in LOVE with your Grandmother , Her honesty is so refreshing
Your Grandma is a HOOT! SO SASSY! Please can we see more of her? Love & Respect from Sydney Australia
My 9 year old granddaughter screams with joy every time we tell her that you posted a new video! We all sit down and watch it together and I am so happy she has something to look forward to watching with us. My husband found you two and for a while I teased him that you two were his new "best friends"! I have since found that you sharing your life with us so comforting and it helps to have something to look forward while quarantining. Thank you Trent and Allie!
Trent's Grandma is literally the best!!
I'm seeing all the love for Trent's grandparents. How about a safe distancing interview with them? Thoughtful questions and some fun stories. That'd be a precious keepsake and maybe go viral! Advice to the newlyweds. Advice on major decision making. Advice on children. etc. We all have a lot to learn for those with more life experience. It could become a monthly series... :-)
Love the idea!!!!
I'd watch. I think they should make a separate video of grandma's reaction to the wedding. I'd love to see how many millions of views it would get. Allie???? Can we do that and if so, can I post it on FB?
That would be amazing especially since all my grandparents have passed. And they just make me feel warm and happy❤️
Excellent idea
Yes! Please do this, Trent & Allie!
Trent's grandma 'I hope it lasts!', she's hysterical.
There's wisdom in her years.... but I'd be happy to wager it will last with these two love birds.
She does come up with funny things to say!
I agree. To spend so much time together and still laugh and have fun - they're going to have a long and happy marriage like Trent's grandma and grandpa.
She sure does.
Suzanne that was so funny!
These are the times you will remember! Working together! You two are such an inspiration. Stay healthy. Keeping it real.
okay just have to say it...Trent's grandparents are the absolute cutest! i mean, geez louise how precious are they? this is the wholesome content the world NEEDS! thank you for sharing your lives & sweet families with us all!
I love your grandma, she’s got a wicked sense of humour 😊
Ditto. Grandma is a pistol.
p.s. With all that hard work, don’t you two ever get cranky? I’ve never seen such cheerful people.
This couple is surrounded by love from their relatives.
Gail H I agree, Grandma is great! I love how she says what she thinks!
When it's safe, we totally need a whole video devoted to Trent's grandparents! 🤣 I love y'all, but his grandparents are so funny!
I just love Trent's grandma. She is the best.
Trent's grandparents are national treasures!
Your grandma needs her own channel, I'd watch... she is hilarious
I support this idea!!! jajajajaja she is really hilarious!
Trent, you should get some chainsaw safety pants ( yes they are a real thing)! Chainsaws only obey the laws of physics and will (OFTEN) jump and buck back when you are cutting wood. Leg wounds are (a) serious, (b) very often life threatening, and (c) VERY messy. If you manage to cut your femoral artery, you'd bleed to death before you could even get to your truck...chainsaw safety pants can prevent ALL of those things. Please get a pair!!
I was going to write this. Please, get them
!!!!!!what he said!!!!!! My son had 70+ stitches for this very reason!!!
The chainsaw hard hats are awesome too. If not very photogenic.
@@judibess6173 : how tragic!
He is also not cutting it properly with front cuts and they should be cutting them lower to the ground. Carhart makes clothes for everybody. Get some overalls.
Your grandparents are just precious. You have been blessed.
Trent I love your Grandparents, especially your grandma. I want her free spirit at that age.
I loved it when Trent’s grandma told Allie it wasn’t too late and how his grandpa wants to wear his new boots to bed. 😂😂
yeah, that had me rolling! "You've still got a chance" (ripping sound) :D
I was ROLLING!!!😂. She's a hoot. Reminds me of my grandmother whom I miss very much. Hug your grandma for us Trent!!!
Idea-try using a horse to drag logs to another area.
Awesome grandparents!
@@carriemoench3545 mules, more fun. my dad did it with draft horses in MB in the 1920's 1930's...
My brother, his wife and cat had to evacuate at 3 am thanks to that firework popping 'nincompoop.' Your Grandma is completely correct.
More Grand parents please!!!! Just love them!
Love grandma and grandpa! They are just so precious. 🥰
I love the grandparents 💕 So precious 😊 They could have their own youtube channel, I would totally watch.
Your grandparents are simply wonderful, sweet, and wise. They make me miss mine. It’s heartwarming to see you taking advantage of this time you have near them.
Smart move with the hat too Trent. They really help keep the sun damage to a minimum.
Trent and Allie....you guys are so adorable together!!...best wishes for the future!!...Trent, your grandparents are the most precious couple ever!!♡
LOVE, LOVE those grandparents!! SOOO SO cute and sweet. 😃
Suggestions: Am sure you've thought of it..and am sure you have these ideas in the back of your mind...
1. Before anything else.. after you've cleared the ground and put up a base for your tiny house.. Get the gravel first for your driveway.. (bottom layer size #3) a good road to your property is something once you do.. you'd not regret it.. no bumps.. no water potholes in the driveway.. and by winter.. the road will be properly flat.. so by then if you feel you need more gravel (upper layer #5 or 8) .. you can do.. that..
2. since the property is on high ground..and in a storm or heavy rains the water will rush on the drive way going downhill corroding the mid ground dig drain along the driveway.. .. either by a hand shovel or with a machine digger..away from your property and away from the road...
3. Wear light color clothing.. getting you to sweat less or Spandex top,
4. Allie: if you're not wearing any eye protection.. wear a bug netting under the hat.. no bugs no wood chips flying in your eye direction and is breathable.
5. for wild area cleaning ..and backaches shoulder spine waist.... after warm shower (luke warm to ease the muscles)..try some herbal Wild Yam balm..you'd be good for the next day.....
6. Tea tree oil, though effective as a natural mold remover (expensive then other remedies) Unlike vinegar and tea tree oil, citrus seed extract (such as grapefruit) does not have an odor. Dilute about 20 drops of extract with 2 cups of water, mix in a spray bottle and spray onto the mold or moldy smelling mattress do not rinse.,
Ok thats too many suggestions.. i'll Shut-up.
Stay safe.. GOD BLESS
Excellent suggestions. Tea Tree oil is a fantastic suggestion!
Wild yam balm....gotta look into that.
Glad you wrote this. It saves me writing. WHOOOO[.
Edward Seth. ~ Edward you’re a rock star! ~
That was cool! I'm sure they appreciate your thoughtfulness lol! I sure did.
Allie your positive attitude is infectious, I wish more people would see the good things in their world instead of drifting towards the negative. Thanks for an uplifting video. Grandma ROCKS!
Love grandma she is feisty and has a wonderful sense of humour, I had one of those, think of her often and miss her loads, enjoy yours to the fullest.
Small Blaze King woodstove. We live in Alaska, built a 16x20 cabin with loft. Never cold! Slept with the window open to cool down a few times. Has a thermostat, catalytic converter. No smoke.
I love how much Trent's grandparents love Allie.
Trent, please get some chainsaw chaps! I got mine the day after I shredded the left leg of my jeans. Took a fraction of a second.Fortunately I wasn't cut. Which is good because I was about 45 minutes away from an ER at the time. Hey, I nag because I care.
Love from Canada
I second that. I’ve been lucky to never cut myself yet. I used a saw for years before I bought my first pair of chaps. The second day wearing them, I slipped and fell and the chain landed right on my thigh and shredded the chaps. Would’ve really messed up my leg if I hadn’t been wearing them.
last day of 3 weeks dropping dead trees at Island Park ID and cutting to lengths... very last tree... the tip hit a spike branch and flipped into my left kneecap... 5" long, over an 2" wide showing down to the bone... 35 butterflies, no way to stitch it, so they splinted it and ace bandage over the butterflies... 8 weeks, it was all healed... would have been great to have some chaps ! 40 years later, can hardly tell it ever happened...
Yes, Trent. Listen to these experienced fallers.
Keep nagging. I would hate to see anything happen to this kid . Just hope he will do it.
We will always keep learning about safety precautions through the years.
I never leave a comment, Anywhere but your Grandparents ARE WONDERFUL !! HOW BLESSED YOU ARE!. Love you both Congrats on your marriage, your Amazing life. Love watching your adventures will keep watching Im sure it wont be boring.
I just love your grandparents. You can tell they adore you both....and vice versa...so genuine. I loved how you surprised them with your wedding, something that they will never forget. It gives them peace of mind to know that you are happy and will be ok in the future. I know this from experience. It’s a pleasure to see your smiles and adventures. Enjoy life. ❤️.
Get a pair of chainsaw chaps.
Even the pros use them regularly.
Love you guys!
Do your stretches, it'll make a difference.
Put in a gray water filter system for you shower.
Making great progress! When Trent’s grandma told him he was a pain in the butt I almost shot coffee out my nose! She is adorable 💕 so excited for you guys!
Hey guys! Congrats on the channel.
A couple things:
Get a safety chainsaw hardhat. It combines a hardhat, ear protection and a face shield. Also get the chaps and a emergency tourniquet that you can wear on your belt. Chainsaws can hurt you in many ways. It looks like you guys are a fair bit away from a hospital, so it is better to be safe than disabled or worse. I have been to the hospital for chainsaw related injuries before, not fun. I am sure you could work out some tradeouts with vendors for the stuff.
Also, consider cutting your felled trees down to your log sizes now. And consider splitting them now and putting them up in stacks to dry for the winter. Fresh wood splits with an axe and you can work it into your workout routine. Dried wood will not split. You will smoke your chainsaw chains trying to cut it to length. then you will have to get a splitter to have any chance at splitting it up into usable pieces.
Try bringing the wood up to your best working height. "Bucking up" wood on ground level gets old fast. You can bring it up to your safe working height. Make a simple work bench, plop a log onto it, cut your sections, move the log cut your log sections, etc etc. Then you can give yourself a workout goal of splitting wood for 30 mins a day. I cleared a lot of oak trees in my day, and if you let it get dry you cannot cut and split it, thinly thing you can do is burn it at that point.
You two make me smile from way down in my soul. You are so sweet! I hope your lives together grow sweeter and sweeter as the years go by.. and your grandmother is a real pistol😂
Thank you for your concern for others… When you put on a mask 😷 going inside a store, seeing your elderly grandparents, and going into a public building…👏😎👍
I LOVE your grandparents!!! 💕
Nana needs her own chanell!
Me too❤
Love your grandparents and your grandmother with her comments. You guys look like you are having too much fun.
Your grandparents are the cutest little couple in the world I think old people are so darn cute God bless them for many many more years to come
Grandpa: "this gets published dear!"...grandma: marriage certificate "you still got a chance... I'll hope it will last!" so cute grandparents! 😘
Too funny..🤣😂
Ohhhhh my goodness, I thought I couldn’t love your grandma anymore!!! She is a legend in her own lunchbox as they say 🤗
always looking for the next new video! Love your grandparents...her surprise at the wedding was so sweet! and boy was she looking for Allie...so sweet! love watching your videos...grandparents are so precious!
Love the portion with your grandparents. They are precious!
"this gets published you know" what a cute couple
I sure hope Terri is well-insulated. If it were me, I'd build a pole barn first and put Terri under it so that you protect her from the huge snows there....
Agree! I'm actually so scared for them to just have Terry this winter. It's going to be a LOT of snow.
I LOVE your grandma! Trent keep some hat on, we gingers have to protect our fair skin.
WOW! Things are really moving now, can't wait for your next video! Your grandparents are great Trent.
Grandma: says something sassy
Grandpa: these videos get published
Grandma: looks at Grandpa and then proceeds to say more sassy things 🤣
Your grandmother is hilarious and I love her 😂❤️
Maybe they should have there own channel??
@@drreed917 I'd subscribe to that! 😁
@@drreed917 I'd watch!
David Reed lol, I said that upthread. They were the best feature this week. The adventures they would get into or try challenges would be a hoot
YASSS, Granndma & Grandpa having their own stand up comedy show. I would watch 🤩
Allie says, "how can I help you"? Trent answers, "give me the strength of a thousand men?" I love it. Doing great.
Two AMAZING People !🐕🐕
Love the couch. That end of the trailer is looking awesome. Have a good night in your "new home"
Seeing your interaction with your grandparents put a smile on my face. They are a hoot. Your grandfather "This gets published you know " I was laughing so hard at that.
Maintenance of chainsaw, always empty out the gas and oil mixture every time your done using the chainsaw. Also, run the chainsaw until the chainsaw is completely out of gas and oil mixture after every time you use the chainsaw. This will keep your chainsaw's carburetor in great condition. Bar oil should be checked frequently.
OMG! Grandma is the best, I love her!!!!
please show more your grandmother, she is the best, love her
When my grandparents cleared their piece of land together in the 1920s, my grandmother was right alongside my Gramps with a cross cut saw (no chain saws back then!), taking down trees, hauling and stacking. You two are making me think of them. They were married 71 years. They did everything together...his and her lawn mowers, his and her irons and ironing boards. The list is huge but they were always together on everything, best friends for life. I am so fortunate to have observed them and it is a gift to children and grandchildren to see this. i enjoy watching the 2 of you in the very same way ♥
PS. I know you are both young, but take a look on Amazon because they sell canned oxygen. I've seen a couple of channels where people traveling in RVs in places like the Colorado mountains have used them...for higher elevations and to avoid altitude sickness. With all the physical activity you are both getting, it may be a good boost for your bodies during the times you are at your land. Just a thought...
Sweet story...I'm in my sixties and wish we were not so developed in some ways...I'm old school and miss a simple life. Thanks for sharing!
Trent’s grandma is so hilarious and cute!!!💚💚💚
Oh your Grandma and Grandpa are treasures! I’m so happy you are setting up your home base so you can be close to them and bring blessing into their lives as they have into yours! Loving your channel more and more! God bless you both!
Your grandma has a great sense of humor 🤗
Speaking from experience, please, please, please carry yellow jacket spray!!! They LOVE to build nests in dead and rotting trees and holes in the ground. Being so far from medical services, you should also carry an epi-pen or other choice in case of the worst case scenario. Good job, guys!!🌲
How could someone not like Trent and Allie? This post has been up for 12 minutes and some jerk gave it a thumbs down.
Time for me to watch!
Your little house is beautiful. I thought you said you were going to get lunch. Imagine my surprise when you showed up with the dollies and that huge box.
Every village has idiots and this vlog goes global so there's always going to be some who like to share negativity.
Remember that the algorithm doesn't care if a video gets a like or a dislike or a comment. It's all activity that matters to it. Likes and dislikes aren't up or down votes.
@WeAreTheResistance We Are The Resistance Aren't you so special? If someone doesn't like T&A watch something else. Praying for you.
Your grandmother and grandfather are super cute. Love the progress on the camper. Congratulations on making it official. Can't wait to see what your new home in the mountains will be like.
It is looking really cozy. I just to say Trent, your grandma is the cutest ever!!!!!
“This gets published, you know” “you still have those to swoosh” completely made my morning!
I'm obsessed with your grandparents Trent, they're absolutely adorable! Congrats on being "officially" married! Nice work on the property clearing, go He-Man & She-Ra! Terry is really coming together nicely, I'm LOVING that couch!! Until Friday...sigh! Stay safe!
Wow, you guys got so much done! I feel exhausted just watching you guys! You will get that home in the mountains done soon!!
Yes, we love the grandparents! They are so cute!
Thank you for taking us along with you on your journey! ❣
27 years ago my husband decided after building a tree house on our 7 acres for the kids that maybe we could build a 5,000 square foot home ourselves. Ha ha. We had 4 kids and had just adopted 3 sisters. Now with 7 kiddos we needed a bigger house. We hired someone to do the foundation and framing and roof. From there we were on our own. It took 18 mo but we did it we have a beautiful huge house. Kids are grown and gone but they love coming home with their kids. I am so glad my husband thought we could do it. We also live in a mountain community. Hang in there you can do it! We started in October so try and get it dried in as soon as you can. Snow and freezing Temps are no joke to work in!
Looking great in your home on wheels. I am very much looking forward to your housebuild.
One comment on your chainsaw activity:
Would you please buy yourself a safety pair of pants (and shoes) when using the chainsaw... Over in Germany we need a certificate to cut down trees😉
Those pants have special fabrics and choke the chainsaw before reaching skin or bones.
Sorry for this motherly advice🙏
Lots of love from good old Germany
You both are such a loving young couple that I am happy I found during this pandemic! Lovely parents, sweet grandparents, loyal friends (Internationally and stateside)! Excited to see you're 🏡 being built!🤗
I love grandma. I’ve never had a grandma but I strive to be like her one day 🤗
Cutest grandma and grandpa ever!
The drone view at 13:30 absolutely breath taking !!
We had a huge Sycamore cut down and my wife and I cleaned up the mess. Most of the limbs were as big a most trees. After cutting this massive thing up, my hands ached for a week from hanging onto my Stihl chain saw. But then i'm 60 yrs old and I think Arthur is setting in.
LOOKS great guys,,,,,
Take care,,,,
Living in an Aspen grove is a blessing💞 Beautiful all four seasons.
Allie - I use and maintain my own chain saw for clearing land. You can do it!
I wear Carhartt women's double layer pants, if you can find them. Love them! Also, a denim shirt over a t-shirt (wool?)/t-neck/vest. The smooth, tight fabric keeps dirt from sticking (well, mostly) and doesn't snag.
I wear Merrell Moab waterproof hikers on my feet.
You are going to need work clothes for years; worth spending a little more money to get good clothes.
My neighbor owns a chainsaw store. I asked him how to be safe using my chainsaw. He said he wasn't worried about me because women are cautious; he worries about men because they push their limits.
His advice:
1. STOP when tired.
2. Always wear safety gear - ear protection, eye protection, chaps, boots, hard hat when felling trees
3. Avoid working overhead.
4. THINK!
Goats to help clear?🤗
Everything BJH says, Carhartt;s are the best. Smartwool socks in steel toe boots. Smartwool for that altitude and weather change.
Goats will do a great job on the ground cover.
I LOVE YOUR GRANDPARENTS!! How funny they are!!
Trent you have the sweetest grandparents!! God Bless them !! Also, you guys rock with trekking those trees !!! It's nice to be young and free ( like your nice song states:)
Man I have been so hyped for you guys' videos lately!! I drop everything when you guys post lol and with this house the excitement will only continue!!
DITTO!!!😂
Your grandmother is a hoot!! Love them both!
Trent’s grandparents are the best💕
I love your grandparents, you are truly blessed!
“A couch is necessary for children.” ?!? That’s one grandma with a LOT of charisma! 😄
I heard Trent to say "A couch is very necessary for chillin'." I think he meant relaxing. Marker 25:06, if you want to listen again. And I agree with you, Trent's grandparents are so fun.
I laughed so much, Trent's Grandma is a hoot. His grandparents are precious, I adore them. Did a good job with the boots for Grandpa, Trent. Oh, I just love this show.
The grandparents should have their own show. I would so watch that every week. The adventures of Grandma and Pops. Seriously, they were the best feature this week.
Since your couch fits that spot so perfectly....You should take the legs off, and instead build a platform with storage under it. That will Lift it up a bit taller and give yourself extra storage space!
I love your grandparents. I can just see then being the life of any party and I bet they have many old time stories they can tell.
Beautiful couch. I only have 2 words: scotch guard.
I was thinking a quick run down to the 4 corners area 6 hrs or so and pickup a Navajo wool blanket to cover it with for durability reasons and splash of local color flavor...
ESPECIALLY WITH A DOG !
@@lylestavast7652 Or any blanket which would tie in with their dining area cushions and not be toxic like Scotch Guard. Wool isn't as washable as other natural fabric options. I'd recommend two blankets--one on the couch while the other is in the wash. Especially as a dog is in the equation.
paula brill I thought about Frank being wet and dirty as soon as I saw the color. Not a wise color choice for anyone with pets that are used to being on furniture.
I was thinking a nice sheet which you be cool and washable.
gotta build a "rocket stove mass heater" burns one fifth the wood, and emits only steam, which means much less wood cutting/hauling, see deluth trading co. for good rugged clothes..
Duluth Trading makes a special line of work clothes for women - they are outstanding in comfort and quality.
Love your grandma's humour...haven't heard the word 'ninconpoop'(spelling?) for years. Adorable💖👍
Your videos always make me smile because you can tell you honestly love each other and your life together. Can’t wait to see your new build and a whole new set of adventures. I’m still binge watching all your other videos, newer subscriber. Enjoy your life together, time goes fast. Be blessed!
Looking good! The couch helped make the space feel like home. When the cushions arrive from Zion Upholstering, it will really look and feel like home. You worked hard on two fronts (the mountain property and Terry. And you dropped off your marriage certificate. Nice video -- keep them coming. God bless both of you abundantly!
