I love the M8, but I'm not very advanced with it to be honest.
I don't understand how to utilize mannnnny of it's features, and they keep updating it with more new stuff i've not spent any time with yet, either.
I've not been using it as much as I was at first, just never enough hours in the day.
@@ElectronisoundsAudio - I hear you! I travel a lot for work (touring musician), so the M8 is a godsend for making music on the bus or in hotels. Nothing touches its functionality for anywhere near the size/price IMO. Keep up the good work!
Great demo Dean (again)- and it’s highlighted a shortcoming in my young system: no 1U space. However, I know of a business that sells a kit to turn 3U space into 1U territory- and it looks like I’m going to need such a kit, cos these Mosaic modules look very useful indeed!

I really think the "biggest bang for the buck" with these modules is the Plucked String.
(Really loving that punchy snare, though LOL 🤓)
...but the Plucked String is really a self-contained voice in just that one module. You don't need extra VCA's for it, etc.)
Running it through *any* reverb makes it so extra delicious. 🤤
Fantastic demo. Especially like the plucked strings and snare. Seems like plucked strings exceed 4 voice polyphony with decay. Have you tested how many voices the module can go up to by any chance?

Could I use the 'Mosaic 1U Line output' in my intellijel pallete case? I bought the case after watching Andrew Huangs channel but its turns out the stereo line out by intellijel is super hard to come by so I'm looking for a substitute.

Yes, you can definitely use that module with your Palette, but unfortunately, it won't connect up to the 1/4 outputs of this case like the stereo line out by intellijel will.
I was lucky enough to find one of those USED on Reverb.com, and it's really nice to have the Palette's 1/4 outputs connected underneath the modules to be able to use them.
(I get what you mean about hard to find right now!. I had to wait over 6months for a sequencer from intellijel after an order last year. It's getting tighter still!) Yiikes!
@@ElectronisoundsAudio yeah I've ordered a few intellijel modules but all of them are 'out of stock' but it's at least good to know that you eventually received them haha I was beginning to think I may never get them. I'm just gutted that I've got this bad ass music making device which I can't use for potentially months, owell...

That is exactly the pull of Eurorack, in that you can hand-pick the individual modules that do the things *YOU* like.
Everyone's specific goals are different, so you can build exactly what you want -- a custom glitchy drum machine for example could be built in about 1,000 different ways with countless module variations, samplers, analog or digital drum modules -- depending on your exact needs and wants.
If you are interested in more about *getting started* building a system, then I might suggest checking out this livestream I did, putting together the *most basic* system - to make music with to help people understand how it all works better. 👍

@@ElectronisoundsAudio I'm a huge fan of the string mode in Plaits so this is a perfect little module to accompany it...If I ever get the money for a real Rack. I just love that kind of sound and this one sounded really good to me and I've never heard of it before.
