If you are like most people that never happened, and If it did you likely forgot most of it.
Hopefully this short video will help jog your memory and maybe even teach you something new.
My name is Kevin DiBrita. I am a sales person with Finch Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC in London Ontario Canada. This video is of me in my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox Premier True North 2.0L AWD.
I have almost 8,000 km on this vehicle now and have been enjoying it.

How do you activate the cruise control? I'm in a 2020 equinox but I still can't activate the cruise control. I have it pressed, I press it and nothing.😅
Our new 2021 Equinox of 2 months, the DIC just went blank on us. We will take it to the dealer this week to check it out.
You wouldn't be the first. But I have found in most cases people have it set on a blank page.
If you scroll up and down, left and right and it is still blank, yes you will need to see your dealer

Hello, thanks for the video, what is the E on the bottom left side of the dashboard? while driving this letters change constantly.. I was unable to find this in the manual
Just a guess. Did the letters change from E to S to W to N?

How do you get back to spedimeter after being in options
Push the left arrow on the steering wheel until you are back to the home screen. That should work.
How do I know if my equinox has remote start capability.
If you remote has a buttone with a circular image with an arrow at the end it has remote start.
First hit the lock button, them hold the other button for 3 seconds. The car should start as long as there are no warning lights on in the vehicle and you 4 way flashers are off
I can’t make a phone call seri answers but it never follows trough I have to use my iPhone then it works I get incoming calls I just can’t can not get a connection to call out

It may have been part of the true north package. Does your vehicle have a sunroof?

It is tied into the Nav. When on a road with a posed speed limit, it will show there

My base model 2019 Equinox (1.5L gas) has buttons on the other side of the steering wheel (hidden from view). I've learned that the right set of hidden buttons control the volume of the speakers. However, I have constantly pressed the left side hidden from view buttons and have been unable to learn what function they perform. I went through my owner's manual (close to 400 pages) and find no mention of any of those hidden from view buttons. Do you know what function the left side of hidden buttons perform?

The buttons behind the left side of the steering wheel will scan through your radio favorites.
Program 3 pr more radio stations to try it out. If that doesn't work, contact your dealer, there may be an issue with the buttons.

That's odd because I also have a 2019 and my manual does explain those controls.
How do you deactivate Auto-stop after you put into L6 gear I know it's suppsed to stay deactivated till vehicle is off than when restart have to do all over again. Do you stay in L6 or can put back into drive and stay deactivated?

Looks like someone has hidden your A trip.
In the options / settings menu in your driver info center there is a place to turn that back on.
So u can't cha ge the radio stations from the stering wheel?? Gay lol

I just got me a 2020 Chev trade N my 2018 Outlander & so far my family & I like it it drive real nice But it scared me when the SUV turned off at the red light… 😮 but it’s a gas saver that what they said 🤍
I've made that mistake before. It is so important to let our clients know how the vehicle will react when you drive it. I Like the way our start / stop system works when compared to other manufacturer's, but when your engine turns off, just before turning left it is not a good feeling.
