If I remember correctly, Naya had said somewhere (don't ask me where) that it was one of their last shows, and she just decided to crash the scene. I know Kevin McHale says in an interview that in their last shows, they were doing all kinds of different things. Jumping into numbers they weren't normally in, crashing scenes they weren't supposed to be in, so I'm pretty sure that moment with Heather and Naya was one of those moments.
They just need to be touching all the time. Their need to stay in physical contact is what CREATED Brittana in the first place. Because naya and hemo would cuddle or hold hands or stand to close in season 1 of glee in the background. I love it though, a beautiful friendship with a bit of sexual tension but I don't think they'll ever act on it.

Our son was 5 at the time and just a year older than Josey when he lost Naya! Our son and I miss Daddy every fucking day! My heart goes out to little Josey and Naya’s Friends family and loved ones.. love you Naya
