Our midsem exam on the swiming program was that the instructor drops chlorine tabelts into the pool and you are tasked to dive and retrieve it. And we were trained to do so.
My observations and questions 1. The police report stated she was unconscious and doctors pronounced her dead when she arrived at the hospital . But the social media reports that she was found in the pool lifeless. Being Unconscious and being lifeless are two different things 2. If she was found unconscious does it mean if they performed first aid like chest compression before being taken to the hospital, she would have made it? 3. If she drowned by accident or by someone it could be investigated. How the body was found in the pool could be clues if there was any sign of strangle or struggle? I think her phone too can be a clue,checking all the conversations form the time period ( maybe it suicide )
This is really sad…A promising young lady with bright future ahead of her, just gone like that…How can a whole hotel not have CCTV cameras on their premises? Something is very fishy and her boss needs to be thoroughly investigated…I hope that Ghanaian police will not disappoint us….African police officers cannot be trusted, but we are going to give Ghanaian police the benefit of doubt, while looking forward to a reasonable conclusion of the investigation…May her young soul rest in peace…
Lemme add a bit of context and simplify. If she was suffocated outside the water, there would be no water in her lungs. Rigor Mortis won’t allow it. If she was suffocated in the water, there would be signs of a struggle as the reflex to survive always kicks in. As there’s no blunt force trauma neither signs of struggle or assault, plus pulmonary edema is a very plausible sign she drowned. And yes even experienced swimmers can drown. She might even have a health condition

So although the pathologist said drowning because her lungs were filled with water, we truly cant tell which of the incidents occurred first.
This thing doesn’t make sense ooo, if she drown in the pool, she will definitely make noise and seek for help. The security men working at that time would have even seen her and helped her out. But to tell me she was found dead in the pool !!!! It doesn’t make sense. Everyone who works at the hotel including all who slept at the hotel have questions to answer
Did they check the contents in your stomach. Were they able to check if she was raped? Could they check her phone for her communications. Now, if this has happened in the same hotel previously, what measures have the hotel authorities put in place to prevent this from happening? Suspects in this case to be questioned will be hotel workers and all visitors, including her work colleagues. We should try to secure our hotel doors when we go to sleep. Very sad. I suspect something fishy. There's a murder on the loose.

Asphyxia is another word for suffocation. Why is the police ignoring that aspect of the autopsy.
