I saw this movie when it came out. I was 16. It definitely was different than anything else at its time. This title was talked about for a long time in pinball chat rooms but I didnt actually think it was going to get made. We were very surprised when we found out.

AWESOME!! I was thinkin that some of the call-outs was going to be annoying, but from what was displayed just now seemed just right. I can't wait to see the topper interaction in combination with the gameplay. Should be EPIC! So far pretty damn sweet!!!!

Fair enough. I can appreciate it is a nuanced theme. That said there are enough people out there that this appeals to that they should be able to sell what they are making. Definitely better gameplay IMO than WoZ but I can see the light show similarity a bit.
Very cool game for a first offerring from a new pinball company. Look forward to playing this in the wild! The only thing that bothers me is the dark area across the entire middle of the playfield. It actually takes away from the beautiful artwork of the pinball machine and it really is bad and poorly lit. That is something I hope you can fix before this thing hit the assembly line. There at least needs to be a couple of spotlights to brighten up that area.
Looks great! I’m not a huge fan of the movie, but I didn’t grow up watching it, and have only seen it like 3 times as an adult. It’s a cool adventure, and I can definitely appreciate it. Damn would really like this game. Not a cheap one though (but worth it?). It bothered me though how the lips weren't close during the David Bowie song played on the multiball...hopefullly they can clean that up.
For early code I think it is in really great shape. I anticipate that some of the details will be cleaned up in time but even at this stage I would say yeah it’s worth it if you are in the market for a new game.
Sarah should have been in the game. Music during gameplay is like a lullaby. Looks like will get dull in home environment. Reminds me of a JJP pin and that’s not great. Wife and daughters are huge fans of the movie and they do not like it. Said to pass on it. What a shame. Great first pin, but missed the mark for us.
Is there any Sarah or toby content on the machine? Couldn't tell from the promo materials. Seems weird that the humans would be left out, but maybe just overlooked
It was a choice made by the company to have the player be the main character. The game is about your quest though the Labyrinth to defeat The Goblin King. I feel like this choice will help heighten the immersion factor so I’m all for it
@@matthewdonnelly718 they tried to get Sarah but id say it was too expensive. Thats fine but i dont think their original plan was to omit the main character in their IP. To say it was their plan all along is double down marketing horseshit which I dont appreciate, but hey i guess they are trying to sell pinballs. Looks excellent though nevertheless.
It seems the decision was made to let the player be the human. I can understand why some would have preferred a different style but this also works very well.
It plays better than that. Code wise, I am sure things will also continue to evolve. Really great theme and a lot of fun to play. Some interesting shots and mechs.

Looks amazing! Though Bowen is a pinball GOD. so he makes every shot look easy. Hope its not clunky as heck like all the American Pinball machines.
I like the AP machines but I know not everyone does. Regardless, I agree with you, Bowen makes every game seem easy.

It’s possible they don’t have the license for them. It’s too bad but at least they have Bowie.
