Punjab style also has uthaans, there are several types and in different performances they have played different types. In this performance they have started with an ekhaati uthan (starting on dayan only and bringing in bayan/bass) and some mukhras. These mukhras are closer to the Banaras uthans in the triple-speed format, however Abbaji has played different uthans in other performances.

Bro one of the guru of banaras gharana is Kadao Singh, he was from punjab gharana.
