You take 19 states from Texas to California and Mexico to Canada and you control most of the food production in America.( beef, potatoes, fruit and vegetables from California,etc and water ways) You can close down the east of the Mississippi River without a problem, where most people live in. East of the Mississippi, Florida would be the open channel to the Atlantic and Gulf Coast. It makes sense and wouldn’t take long to take over the east coast
