@@DIYRepairHour interesting, I also use a regular lapel mic with my phone but I seem to get much worse quality than you do, also it picks up interference from lamp and computer and pretty much everything. It behaves like an antenna :D

It's just audio my phone records, I don't have any proper recording setup. I bought a £45 microphone from Amazon but compared to the phone it sucks 😞
