I LOVE HER! She is a very subtle hero, with a passive playstyle. Most people like high damage and being aggressive and thats not the point of Zinx. The reason she feels underwhelming is because she has low damage and a relatively boring kit. Nothing flashy and exciting. She is a tank. Period. Damage dealing isn't her main focus. People keep highlighting her lack of damage, instead of praising how extremely tanky she is.
She has a different playstyle and is an absolute nuisance due to her ability to harrass with her DoT powers and her difficulty to be killed. She doesn't appeal to a lot of people, but if you want to use her most effectively, I'd build her tanky with lots of mana. Cast Converter is a must. She is very balanced and is one of the tankiest heroes in the game, if not the tankiest thanks to her ult. Also, if your landing your basics and hitting your kitty claws(while also having Madspore Sash in your build), her damage is actually pretty decent. But you've gotta be consistent. Thats the key to stacking up her damage.
But it's understandable that many people don't really like her. She's boring to play. But she is very effective as a tank and does her job very well without feeling OP or unbalanced.

I can agree with this statement, thats why I wish bad medicine could heal allies, it'd give it more utility as a support and it'd fit in with her lore as a doctor. What abilities would you give her tho?
Cameron Johnson i totally agree with that things dont match with her lore as a doctor and the healing fits in and maybe add a that u can transfer her ult to a teammate
Cameron Johnson plus shes a cat give her a ability that complements that feature like a leap or give her a another toggle ability that when turns on she gains movement speed and can jump higher
I still don't understand why Paragon doesn't do 2 solos facing each other and the carries and support of both teams facing each other. It just feels off having to 1v2 in a lane.
Viking-Midget as much as I like playing offlane it was very satisfying winning the 2v2 lane on legacy
Some pro's do switch lanes after taking the enemy left lane.
OhSnapItsTJ yeah the duo often switches to the side closest to the raptors but usually if the support carry combo is better than the oppositions
most of the times it becomes a 2v2 near the raptor camp as soon as the two towers fall

Lavelle Romain mana regen and def is useless, building mana alone makes you invincible and can allow you to deal enough damage, you only need 1 damage card and that's the one that gives you damage based on total mana.

They did say she was built with new card system in mind. Maybe that's why she feels so ehhh atm.
I used to main zinx she was very underrated which made me the target of a lot of player yet I had a full tank subtle dmg build that made me practically immortal and the burst dmg on her Q was just 👌🏻. I miss paragon so much 😞
I like her. Idk why everyone wants her to have damage. The devs said she's a front liner. Building damage seems like a waste to me.
I do find it weird how her ult works though. I assumed the passive mana regen would only work if the ult was toggled off. Since it works regardless, there's almost no reason to ever have it off.

people see her and think about what she could be and not what she is, i have seen so many people build regens, damage, crits and attack speed, yet they are all useless on her.
attack speed and damage is fine late game as a small upgrade but its all about her mana and hp.
The best build from my testing - 40+points into mana, 6-10 into hp, the rest between damage and attack speed.
the 40 poits into mana doesnt have to be 40 points of upgrades, it can be cards with passives for mana or just mana cards with good passives. (special passives not regens and such)
Building anything on her other than what i suggest is near useless, she doesnt need regen once she hits level 5, she doesn't need much hp once she hits level 5 and she doesn't need anything to do with killing since she is made to tank enemy damage, she can easily withstand the offlane attackers and then punish them slowly.

DeadGhost113 I really hope that he doesn't play offlane crit Narbash just to spite you, your just annoying. Sure, it might be cool but if he has said that doesn't want to do it you should respect that.

Mr Lovehat What these guy doesn't know is i like Nibori. I like his attitude and what he does for the game. I watch his UA-cam content also watch Nibori stream to and i have never spammed his chat with the crit Narbash. I respect the guy to much for that. However i think Crit Narbash would be Amazing to watch with Nibori reactions.

One tip for Zinx is to not max her Q until your ultimate is maxed because you'll burn all your mana.
I've tried building mana regen and flat mana. I've tried attack speed, pen and lifesteal. The first build was hitting for 400+ damage from her Q and the attack speed one was hitting for 300+. I tried using the spiked bone plate with snakevine which was good too. But yet to try something like in this video.

Doing full Mana and Health is definatly the way to go, Justr keep your ult up 24/7 once you hit 8-9. She's pretty anti-burst, she is queen of sustain (cast converter) and sustained damage (passive)
Even though you don't like her, you're one of the few who understood that HP regen on her makes her a beast. I build hp regen in the early game and some power/hp, then i take my regen cards out and pick up a Cast Converter. Bam, never going back to base if not needed.

I build her more as an annoying tank. Ignore health but build decent amounts of mana and damage, some armor, and not forgetting cast converter with clearheart. As long as you back off occasionally to let your mana regenerate she's nearly unkillable while simultaneously pissing off enemies with her dot
honestly i didn't play her but i faced her and i am aware with her abilities, i don't think she is very much useful in a group fight except maybe her multiple stun ability, but nah, as a tank i prefer sev or gray or steel because they much useful in a group fight.

her ultimate is a unique BTW.
She works well with cast converter and power chord. Maybe even a stasis gem.
Her and Morigesh really synergize well with each other. Seems like they could be pretty beasty.
8:57 an example....if you hit the 1rst minion in this incoming wave.....thats how you use her ricochet boomerang...you would get max stun on the enemy hero
I think she can do too many things and at the end excels in nothing ...
Pokemon Memories I also feel, her kit makes it feel like she needs damage, penetration, health, mana and maybe something like thickblood etc and without that, she can't do anything.. but that would just be too much to skill
Chromnom you dont necessarily need damage because I've seen people tank her but me I balance her with health and mana
its all abot building mana and small bits of everything else, she is a tank but people treat her as a tanky damage.
Yo NIBORI! I was very skeptical about Zinx at first. But after playing her a few times she's pretty good. Though I understand she can be a little bit bland (because of aesthetics) her ult is great. This is coming from a guy who plays Gadget (who burns through mana like a firecracker). You just have to figure out to clear out minion waves (I will not tell as it is MY secret. But, she can be pretty tough. What made me doubt her at first was the looks, as contrary as what you thought on this vid. But the kit in this patch is awesome (well after re-patching for v 42.last one ...) Keep up the good work. Nibori! jejeje take care...

Blood Catalyst & Cast Converter, plenty of mana and health and you're good to go. She an unconventional tank which I like but I get what you're saying. It mixes the tank category up a bit which I like.
I like her..but not as much as other offlaners..but she is very good at keeping offlane intact if you know what you're doing...keep uploading by the way you're the best!!

It think linx is awesome. Dot damage on top of a wave clear ability that does more damage if your enemies stand in it. pretty op to me.
I like her a lot I don't like building tanky though her dot stacks so it's very very underrated even tho she just got released. I have a mana regen damage build that hits pretty damn hard and she can survive a lot anyways without building into it.

Maybe tank is the way to go since she doesnt seem like she can dish out a whole lot of damage quickly in comparison to other offlaners
Jack of all trades, master of none comes to mind. I like the idea but as you said there are better picks for the current meta. maybe V42 let's her shine as she has been created with the new card system in mind.
Was playing as Gideon and my partner was a Kwang, and early game right when she got her ultimate, she left it on all game, pain in the ass man. Like it took 3 of us to kill her. Her ultimate needs a time limit or something.
I feel like she has her ups and downs. I personally like her. Also if you don't like a hero you don't have to repeat it consistently in your video lol. With saying it once or twice is perfectly fine and also with the description saying it. But you kept it going throughout the whole video man lol.
Tbh, I love the dot dmg most (for some reason still my favourite) so I'm quite happy. But more you play her....well...
She's not bad, she just isn't overpowered or game changing like the last few characters that have been released.
I can see her being very tanky if built properly, but I don't see how it really benefits the team. Unlike Sevarog, Kwang, or Grux she doesn't seem to really bring a lot to make her disruptive or threatening enough to force the enemy to focus her instead of her allies. Maybe she could be a tanky split pusher like Greystone but idk.
Little strange as far as kit and design but I can see a tankier set being her strong point. How do you aim so good dude 😄 I can't play ranged heroes for crap.
Maybe she isn't meant to really hurt quickly at all, from what I've seen in all the DoT damage, ult shield and group stun it looks like she's meant to either really help in a teamfight or to just outlast everyone else.
I like her especially with the build that I have good dmg and I almost never die

I think a good thing would be damage with Mana the more of it the better her alt also ash of the which is amazing on her one of the best cards for her
Regardless of this "mega sustain in the offlane," I've been having much better luck playing her as a tanky off-support.Granted, every time I played her in the offlane, I got randoms that just insta-threw instead of dodging, and when I played her as I support I was in a 5 stack. I digress, she feels like she'd be better off leaving the offlane with a better pusher.
i like her but the problem is that her one good ability that does damage waste insane amounts of mana, her bad medicine is useless plus she is kinda in the middle, if u build tanky u wont do that much damage and if u build dmg u die quickly even with ur ult and if u use ur ult youll run out of mana even before u can toggle ur weapon, they need to lower the mana cost on kitty claws
Her RMB should do more initial dmg. also she feels like a bruiser carry like old Murdock. you might play her as adc.
Nibori, I'm right there with you. Zinx feels super underwhelming. I came in to play her wanting to like her but everything is middle of the road. Her damage is sub par and her survival ability really only come in to play at level 5 with her ult. But that is only if she has the mana to remain in the active. I wish she had just a bit more damage on her abilities. But I guess the reason for it being low is because of the stacks. The problem is though, why play someone like Zinx when you can just pop them with arrows on Sparrow or drop a mine on Gadget.
Nibori I think you should definitely re-visit Zinx after v42 comes out. They said they made her with the card rework in mind in the community corner video. Maybe that's why she feels underwhelming now?
Kitty claws is a touch high on mp eating, maybe it should be 20 45 60 85? that low mana power house mana regen tho :D im still coming up with ideas
Personally i think she's far better as a mid laner, once she hits her ult she doesn't need to worry too much about mana and taking the river buffs and if she can harass the enemy mid laner they won't be able to take your mid tower and with you being tanky you don't need to worry too much about ganks, you can take the hits, let the enemy spam their abilities run out of mana forcing them to back and draw the enemy jungler out to cover the lane, all the while you just sit there knowing you're pissing off their mid lane and also in turn potentially keeping the enemy jungler under farmed, just my opinion anyway, as an offlaner i'd MUCH RATHER have a wukong/aurora/greystone
She's kind of in a weird spot, I built her like I do greystone with a bunch of health ability and basic guard with only a little bit of damage with decent attack speed but her basic isn't as good as greystone's so she doesn't do good damage but she's basically invincible. But if she's not doing alright damage then they'll just not pay attention to you in team fights. If you build her with too much damage I think she's too easily dealt with so you it's important to balance both giving a bit more points into power to compensate for her poor damage scaling

i made her armor,hp and power deck for her , not tried yet but maybe Works
shes an awesome tank, but i dont think shes meant for anything else
tried using 2 riftmagus, blade of agora, 2 vital taps and an eldermage, had 144 damage 25 lifesteal additional 1200 health and crit bonus
it didnt really work tbh felt more like a jack of all trades than anything i was hoping for a tanky bruiser but it didnt work. so im just gonna make her a super tank lol
am building hydroverser cast converter for sustain n power. leaves a lot of room for trying more cards

I think you should revisit her nibori, and with s different build. I'm working on one that seems to be pretty cool. she's different than the other heroes because she's built for sustain. I'll shoot you the build when I get a chance. I think she deserves way more credit.
Her kit is unusual but she's growing on me
The entire enemy team attacked you under their inhib and you tanked it well. I think building her tanky is the best way for now, you did well without building damage.
run a lot of mana and your regen will allow you to nonstop fire her special bullets which have a 1.0 damage scaling
one point of missing mana with her ult maxed out is the equivalent of 6 points of mana regen
if you have 2000 mana missing youl have 120 mana regen so the shots are constant
so i run 20 cp mana 40 cp damage
and supposedly shes gonna be better when the new card system comes out. thats what epic was saying
see Nibori I thought I was the only that thought she was "ok" I played a couple games with her and the damage I was dealing wasn't enough in team battles or solo ...don't get wrong her Q can do some damage I lost every game.....and I would say im a little bit of an above average player. ..she's a bit difficult

Nibori do you think damage will work for her? what build do I recommend?
first she doesn't scale well with damage. second, her kit doesn't do enough damage for the mana cost. her bad medicine is supposed to be a lane deterrent and wave clear but it just doesn't do enough for anybody to care, even the minions. same with kitty claws. her stun is great though. I just wish it hit more times per level and maybe did more damage. not near as satisfied with her as I was with Wraith.
tainted magic and stinger boost do help with her damage though.
lol I pity the other team. prob all talking shit to each other. I decided to play paragon after a 6 month hiatus, and man people were so toxic toward me. Granted I caused their losses most of the time just b/c I forgot how to play, but my acct was in low plat, and who cares about win/losses at that level lol. If I were in diamond, then fine. But man the community in paragon is terrible today.

Aditya Pradhan but it gets you back into the groove with little repercussion to failing. It's just common gaming sense. TBH... new players jumping into this type of game with no ability could potentially be seen as being toxic. Maybe "toxic" isn't the right term but it's along the lines...
that's true. I think Paragon has evolved into a non-casual game, probably for the better. I only play games during the holidays and for fun, so it's probably not for me; just an observation that last year the community seemed to be a lot more tolerant and helpful.
Haven't played her but playing her tanky looks like it could be fun.

I love her model and what thwy wanted to do, by I feel like she needs a lil rework
No one in any Zinx video I've watched knows how to use her stun. you attack a group of minions that are close to an enemy hero and it will ricochet and increase in stun length for each additional target. I always see people throw it at enemy heroes directly. which is a very short stun. hit the minions first....then it will ricochet off of the minions stun the enemy hero much longer.
She looks like a concept that was tossed into the game because it was closer to completion than any other concept they had at the moment ._.

I really want to Zinx to be good, but I feel her scaling is lacking right now as well. I really hope they are biasing her current stats towards the new card system. I feel both of her Dots are to low. I feel the duration, or damage per dot needs to be higher.
Aron Gari the problem in she either does high dots or she's a tank they need to decide that because she's currently a tank more than damage if they increased dots to much she would be unkillable damage dealer aka broken
Easay9 Games I don't think they need to give her a massive buff, I think what would be best would be to lower her damage per tick, increase her duration by maybe 50%each, and increase her card scaling by maybe 15%. Though that is just based off the current card system.
Aron Gari nah adding to much scaling would break her I think a simple less mana to use kitty claws would do the job her scaling on her ultimate is already god tier and kitty claws damage if you add attack speed when it starts stacking on someone will add up
But that doesn't change the fact that her abilitys are going to be kind of boring compared to other heroes however I appreciate another hard counter to revenent in offlane to join Steel in that reguard
I feel like with her kit she should have been a melee character instead.
