Ice Fishing Level Unlocked (S03 E04)

Location: Sego Prairie Pond, Kuna, Idaho
Bait: Real Worms
Rig: Ugly Stick Ice Fishing Rod & Pfleuger Spinning Reel
Species: Rainbow Trout
The pond was frozen over completely during this visit, which is what I was hoping for. It was a little interesting to see footprints on the ice since it is uncommon for bodies of water in the Magic Valley to freeze enough to support people. For ice fishing, though, it was fantastic. I had great success with the new gear, and the bait was the perfect choice.

Amazing video, Wish I could have ice fished there, may have had better luck than at Riverside pond.

It was pretty spectacular. Probably not frozen over anymore, but might freeze again before the end of winter. Hope you get to try it sooner rather than later. :)
