Hi, for the vibrations prblems, check before the 2 pneumatic engine support... If one is broken, you have vibrations, ex rear support dead, vibrations in D, front, in R... It's not torque converter but common problem
It's not just vibrations, the car is in gear without any slip. If I let go of the brake the car does not move forward slowly but just starts driving. That is why the engine stalls after you brake to a stop, there is no clutch or torque converter slip anymore. To make matters worse, driving around the garden the gearbox broke completely, reverse gear does not engage anymore...
@@ReminiscenceGarage Yes, you are right, I listened to the video again in more detail, indeed we can hear that the motor is forcing, the torque converter is out of order ... Are you going to make other mechanical videos on your c6? I love your videos, they are awesome!
@@c6unjourc6toujours I will make more videos, next week I'll start with the suspension on the other C6. I've had some busy weeks working on other cars, but I'll make more vids soon!
@@ReminiscenceGarage i’m very impatient to see them ! Good job for suspension ! Next month I will change oil pump, bearing, belt, oil gaskets... hard job ! And also high pressure hydraulic tube wich go from the steering pump to wheel part leak... very hard to remove it,....
Hey! I was inspired by your videos and I've just bought a C6 as a project car :) In my garage I detected that it has a leakage of the enegine coolant. Can you provide me with some schemes of the engine cooling system, with the part numbers of the separate parts? Really any manuals and lists of part numbers will be helpfull. It's my first Citroen. Thanks!
I suggest that you join c6owners.org, they have a very extensive database of parts lists, workshop manuals, modifications and loads of experience! C6 coolant leaks are quite common, most of the time it's the thermostat housing in the valley of the engine (part no. 1336 Y3) the water inlet pipe above the alternator (part no. 1336 Y2) or the heater hose that runs alongside the framerail on the left side (6466 PH) because it rusts trough.
Looking forward to next one as I have just bought a C6 and will make it a project car too.
I just got some parts in to continue with the C6, update will come soon!
Don't suppose you still have the spoiler mechanism from your parts car? Willing to part with it for cash? 😁
Is het lastig om de cc te repareren, die van mij wil niet meer bij de c6
