Wow, another low-level player thinking they dictate what is "digusting and op". There is so much room to play around his playstyle. The _majority_ of junglers in the game can cross through walls *_and_* has _at least_ one hard CC: _(e.g. Lee Sin, Elise, Vi, Kayn, Zac, Qiyana, Jarvan, Shyvana, Viego, Diana, Taliyah, Jax, Fiddlesticks, Briar, Bel'veth, Amumu, etc.)_ It's literally a standard.
And any *other* remotely decent jungle champ that can't do both can at least do one or the other.

The charge up for his ult is pretty slow, it's easily flashable. His old ult was instant and guaranteed, so it's not a full on buff just because it's AOE now

If this is OP, then wait until they see Malphite Ult or Maokai Ult. They cam CC multiple targets and you dont Need to be facetanking the Enemy for it o.O

My head cannon always has been a bit more MMA fighter. Do they grapple? Sure but it's not a core part of his style. The ult is just him taking him to the ground for the ground and pound

Skarner can suppress 1 champ for each tail he has so he can suppress up to 3 champs at a time. That already is broken.
As a Skarner main for nearly a decade I'd like to thank Riot for completely gutting and altering his playstyle, theme and niche into something that'll have either 100% ban rate, or be nerfed into obscurity over the next year. I know it's hella sarcastic, but the way to go about making him better wasn't to completely gut his theme and functionality, it was to improve his current playstyle and make some minor changes. Ugh, what a disappointment.

It's not really anymore OP than say an amumu ult or something. Heck, while a suppression is better than a stun (especially in this case since skarner can pull the carries into the team/under tower) it does have a short but very flashable cast time/animation and it is extraordinarily unlikely that you will get a three man suppression and even less likely that it will be the three most important targets to suppress. Skarer still has some of the "how do I get in to grab my person" problem he has now but it will really depend on how often and how well skarners can use the e ability as that is by far the most game changing thing about the new kit.

I think its thematically weird that he needs to charge up just to grab people with his stingers, but gameplay wise makes sense at least
@@Roflmao6173 I don't see how it is thematically weird the same way you are seeing it. Similar to snakes, scorpions prepare to launch (charge up) and then attack with a burst of speed when ready with their tail.
I know the rework is basically a new champ, but seeing it in pro play will be funny

Champ should never be viable. Ruins the game not just for enemies, but for allies as well because you're forced to support him.

Reworks are Riot's sick twisted way of deleting your old champions without most of you complaining about it. Those of us paying attention over the years have caught onto the formula. Make it look better, but keep the same name, and make it super OP. That way it's difficult for you to complain about the rework. "yeah my old champ is a BEAST now". Then on the next patch nerf it into oblivion, or micro-nerf every patch until it's awful. Ask warwick, fiddle, and many others if you don't believe me.
I'm fucking done. The playerbase is now complaining that reworks exist in the first place. Yes, Riot is a shitty company for not updating old champs, but when the same community that voted Skarner as the least satisfying champion, and decided that he should get a rework JUST TO COMPLAIN WHEN IT RELEASES, I wouldn't update old champs either if I was Riot.
im a little concerend that the LCS pros are reacting to skarner, and havent been the ones playtesting it for balance...

I love how every pro there agrees that riots made another dumb over powered champ design. The E through walls (not original: Kayn, Zac, Zeri, Smolder, fiddle ult, etc), the Massive AOE and AOE CC, the mobility, the tank, and dmg). So broken.

at least it doesnt SEEM like he does a lot of damage (will need more gameplay with experienced players to definitively say) unlike k'sante who is a cc tank that also does 1million damage.

It looks horrible. Completely different champ with nothing from his old self. Complete gameplay rework. No movespeed. He's going to need hotfixes on launch to make him viable.
