If you ever played with him, if you were ever fortunate to have him on your team in Edmonton, Montreal or anywhere, you'd be lucky. He was a fantatic protector & enforcer and perhaps more importantly, a very carning, nice & kind person.
Growing up playing hockey and being a dyed in the wool Red Wing fan I always loved Probert and Kocur. I gained a huge respect for Laraque. Never took cheap shots, respected his opponent, but was there to win.
In all NHl fights he was gentleman, never punch opponent on the ground, he was still very gentle and nice to his opponents. there were fight where he could easily beat shit out of the guy, but he didnt.
famguy218 What does it matter? It's a mainly French speaking town and he speaks French. It's not surprising that he has an accent. And 12% is not "widely".
with great power comes great responsibility, and i respect the hell out of this guy for it
Probably the best win % ever in the league for fights. Great guy on and off the ice.
Listen to him everyday on the radio, amazing guy.
+jhon smith Haha non c'est pas moi ! Je suis un autre Louis, je ne vénère pas Peyton Manning ;) !

I remember watching him play for Hamilton and instantly became a fan!
A gentle giant! Until you piss him off! Great man!
No doubt one of the toughest and most respected enforcers in NHL history..💯

Why does George always pull the helmet the player he is going to fight
Every fighter tries to do that so they don't break their hand punching a helmet.
