Who’s still here in 2024? 😂😂 this video got me into downhill, so many memories jamming to this song! Thankyou Cat Empire, and thank you guys for the awsome timeless riding vid 🙌🏻🙌🏻
This got me back into the sport. I lost touch with it in college, but this got me back into it and I've never left my two wheels since. One of the few things that will always put a smile on my face is riding a bike.
Ever since I saw this video in 2009 when I was like 15 it inspired me that I always gonna go to whistler. Now I'm 27 and have been living here for two years after quitting my job and leaving Scotland behind.
For those who don't know - Whistler has a LOT of Australian's living there, or trying to live there until their work permits expire. The song is from an Australian band.
Throughout years I've watched this video, way before this upload. Still one of my favorite songs and MTB clips. Too bad I was never able to be this guy.
I love how raw and sick this is. I was tiny when these came up. Almost 18 now wishing films still had these tunes and good vibes. The sport has grown but these guys were ahead of their time and truly embodied what it meant to be a mountain biker. They love it . 🤙🏼
I saw these movies in 2007 (also Kranked) and I was just dreaming and riding xc in Belgium and Holland, I did not beleave I would do this now. Now I still love xc and love freeride!! :) :)
Looking at those bikes and faces, you suddenly realise just far we’ve come in bike tech, and what a long time it’s been. Glad to have been riding when this vid came out in what I felt was the golden age of MTBing, and now I’m glad to be back again in a new era of MTBing
Watched this allllll the time when I was a little kid wanting to ride downhill bikes so bad, 10 years into riding bikes now and this is still my fav video.
I feel like we should organise a once a year get together for all us guys in our adult years now that were inspired by this video. Looks like it moved a few adventurous souls the way it moved mine. I'm in love with the song and the downhill was still raw and fun and not overly extreme. It was just beautiful.
This video was one of my biggest inspirations. I'd be interested if anyone knows the initial publication date! I think it was around 2009-2010? This video singlehandedly made me switch from bmx to mountain biking. I'd watch this on repeat around the time I was begging my late father to get me a mountain bike. The cat empire is one of my favorite artists to this day. I have to rewatch this periodically, the nostalgia never gets old with this one
2008year When I was a high school student watch this video every day. now I am enter the workforce in the GIANT Touched MTB is not dream see this movie again very moving
Its crazy to think of how, today we see short travel 29" bikes riding those same courses that we would never dream of bringing anything less than a 180 or dual crown bike to, back when this vid first came out. Times really have changed. Still love the sport as much as I did back then too!
Holy crap I saw someone post about this video on Instagram and I completely forgot about it, this is the video that got me started on the riding addiction
I stopped riding for the last 10 years. Re watched this after probably 13 years and just decided to start riding again. Not realising bike prices have tripled as I found out today when I walked into the local bike store, and saw a specialized P3 for $2400.

You are living the dream, mate. I love Whistler, and I wish one day I can move there too. Greetings from Italy!
