Her telenovelas have aged like milk though. They are so cheesy, predictable, and cringe that you must watch it for that very reason other than nostalgia.
No she's not lol, they have titled as the queen of telenovelas because of a very succesful trilogy of soap operas she did, at that time she was already a succesful recording artist, that's why hers had more impact other than that she can't really act for her life, she's better as an artist, there are way more better actresses in México that have over 3 and even 5 decades doing soap operas with much better level of skill, versatility, and more iconic roles and plots/stories, she did participated in several others but they were overwhelming and pretty much she played the same character she always does.

@@Sir3gar the biggest/most popular one here in Brazil without a doubt was Maria do Bairro (Maria La Del Barrio). Mind you Rosalinda was her less watched, even though the opening song of the telenovela is iconic til this day❤️

Are you freaking kidding me?! 😍 🤗 It's Thalia! I'm 38 and I grew up watching her telenovelas. I was 10 years old when she came into my life. Marimar and Maria La Del Barrio were my favorite telenovelas at the time. But because I was so little, I never got to see Quinceañera. Then, some time in high school I was into different kinds of music. Discovering Rock en Español on the radio. That's how I got into Timbiriche.
That was the group she was a part of when she was young. They sang rock, pop and some traditional kid songs. "Amame Hasta Con Los Dientes" is my jam. I miss this kind of pop rock sound. I was overjoyed when her and her former group reunited and did a short concert for the fans who had been hoping for one day to see Timbiriche get back together again. It was magical and brought tears to my eyes. Childhood legends they are.
Personality wise, she reminds me of Taylor Swift. Always beaming with joy and exuding happiness everywhere she goes. Thalia is always this welcoming, loving and charming towards others. She's always kind and respectful as well. She loves her fans, her people, her country. She is an ICON.

It amazes me to see Spanish and especially Mexican music and artists coming out on these English mainstream shoes when growing up that was unheard of and these Latin American artists were only famous mostly in our Spanish speaking world with the exception of pockets of the world that also were exposed to them. Thalia would never have appeared on an English language show 10 years ago, much less 20 years ago. Most people know her as Mottola's wife, but I've known her forever as a high-profile celebrity way before her marriage to him. I was shocked to see her on Kelly's show yet also proud and happy to see representation and acceptance of our artists/celebrities mainstream.
