The problem with trying to be a producer, and not a beat maker, is trying to find a way to be innovative that will catapult you to stand out from everyone else. It’s incredibly difficult. Kanye is brilliant
Good.
As a producer ima tell you it starts in your head then recreate it and replicate it as close as possible to what you hear in your head. No one can teach you feeling and creating music starts in the soul bro
@@Cramz no cap. I been tryna recreate some joint recently like stro elliot, dilla, kanye and 9th. Some of them i can’t figure out how in the fvck they did it 😂😂
Nobody want to hear some recycled bullshit, y’all working ass backwards
producer is making own sounds from scratch.
Ye' is a top 5 producer of all time. Genius! 🙏🏻🕊👍🏼
Whats his fav beat of yours?
Top 5
1.kanye West
2.Yeezy
3.Ye
4.Dondas Son
5.Yeezus
Facts Bro, who you got 1 through 4
Nah hes top 1 producers of all time
Navie D stands apart from other producer UA-camrs because his videos always leave me inspired and empowered to immediately apply an easy to understand fundamental concept. As someone who has been at this as a hobbyist for longer than I’d care to admit 😂 A lot of the topics he covers I might already be aware of but his approach still makes me appreciate how being deliberate can yield a wealth of interesting results. Thank you Navie D for continuing to be a breath of fresh air in this space.
Aye, y'all, listen up. This man speaking facts.
Very kind, thank you! I like to break production down at this level instead of the usual 'use this exact sound, make this exact pattern' types of tutorials
@@NavieD Amen
fruity loops producers are delusional
Absolutely! Big up
Yeah this is probably one of the best music tutorials/lessons I've experienced because it kinda feels like a documentary while you're learning creative heavy stuff that's familiar enough to me to start messing with immediately. It's rare to me when Ifind so much cool information in one spot all in 10 minutes.
true fax
“Prod. by Karim Benzema”
the alecia keys beat it’s soo good you know westside gunn also rapped over it in 2005 on the sing freestyle
Ye came to me in my dreams once and told me to keep shit more simple and work more on the core and it really helped.
Kanye proved his ability to influence reality! i love this video keep up the good work

ha-ha-ha of this nigga burns that rockers lived and made more noise than rappers!!!And personally I don't like rock, but I RESPECT rock.and I don't recognize rap at all!!!I'd rather listen to something from ENIGMA-SCORPIONS-SCOOTER-BAD BOYS BLUE-STING-ACE OF BASE-DEPESHE MODE-DARUDE-DJ SASH-ALLIGATOR-QUICKSILVER- AQUAGEN- BROOKLYN BOUNCE!-----new people will watch Minaj shake her bare ass to the beat of three sound tracks.Idiots..........Probably the main thing is to be aware of what kind of music you listen to and you may not be ashamed of your preferences! And probably this is something that fully reflects your personality! But in fact this is exactly what it is!
Great content Navie! You're really out here helping the whole community. The non-obvious chop idea 🙏🙏🙏
Can't wait to start putting these tips to use. Sound selection, distortion in context, and varied sample placement can take your production to a different level.
The fact that the same producer can create Numbers on the Boards and the soulful Alicia Keys song is just insane
Navie D!!! Bro I stumbled across ur channel within the last month and have been soaking up everything you teach! I’ve been producing on and off for 13 years, but started taking it seriously a couple years ago.
Just dropped my first beat tape “Divergent” on Spotify, Apple Music etc and I used sooooo many things I've learned from you on the tape. God bless bro 🙏🏽💪🏽
Happy to have you join the gang!
Blessing to you man. Keep putting out good quality content and ideas for us. ❤💪🏾🙏🏾
Dude. You are so good at explaining the techniques used in your videos, can't wait to see the next one!
I just stumbled upon your channel. You have one new subscriber now! I started out on FL Studio back in 2004 and it's always nice to see someone that knows how to use it well. Keep up the good work!

Your channel is amazing. Thank you.
Fantastic breakdown. Thanks man 🙏🏽
you have become one of my favorites beatmaking youtubers broo keep making content!
Great Video Thank You.
Love the knowledge on not following the crowd with the same type beat progression and changing it up to make it truly original just like Kanye I focus on the same process especially with new beats I’m working on to stand out from the masses. Keep it 💯 and original!
I just discovered your channel ! You provide good content, and that one is cool also. Subscribed and thanks for sharing.
Thank you for joining the gang Ejy!
You are surgical in your breakdowns. Presentation is art work. Your love for music is easily observed and vast. I'm looking forward to checking your class out when I get an opportunity. Thank you for what you're doing, subbed for sure. ❤
Amazing video man! Good job.
Thank you Fab!
The beat you made at the end is though!!
Very comprehensive Sampling Tips!!
Great content as usual. Ye...Living Legend💯
love it, excellent vid :-)
Very underrated vid. Some of my best beats are when I’m super bored and just throwing random effects on random sounds. You’ll be surprised what you stumble upon
You helped me a lot, thank you very much!👍👍

Dude great video - you got my sub now ;)
Great video again 🙏
Can you do a tutorial video on Conductor Williams sampling technique
Bell beat and chops nice !!!!
I just realized I've been doing these things for a while now and it's probably because he's been one of my favorite artists for like 7 years and I've just spent probably thousands upon thousands of hours listening to his songs
Great video 🤍
Your beat in tip 3 🔥
Great content 💚💛❤️🙏🏽
Best music/Fl Studio teacher on youtube.
That’s some alchemist shit 😮💨 good video gang 🔥
Ohh this tutorial is the truth truth! 👏🏾. Crazy bass first. 📝
Shabaz bro, great explanation. Gonna click on this channel more often
Dope! Thanks bro...Can you do a video on how Just Blaze sets up his drums on his records?
need to try these asap
Motivated again ❤️
I like that beat with the bells
This is Berklee level analysis and curriculum development. Thank you!
Navie can you please do Q tip please🙏🏾 and even j fills his swing was next level
Two minutes in and you gained a sub. Damn dude. I just got into producing and this is probably the most valuable info I’ve heard. Thanks!
Awesome video! Any beat breakdowns from Quasimoto/Madlib tracks? (Catchin the vibes or Bad Character). The bass and vocal pitch….. how it was made….
The best thing about the early Kanye West stuff is that he’d use an amazing soul sample that would stay relatively static while everything around it changed eg instrumentation etc
nice tutorial Benzema. Wishing you great luck on the pitch tomorrow!
Navie D, Accurate bets and J cactus are really the only ones I got to look for when I need help making beats
Navie D is the GOAT
🐐🐐
Love this series. You should a vid on metro boomin.
Could you do a video on how producers like The Alchemist or Roc Marciano make those drum-less sample looped beats
eg. Look at me by Freddie Gibbs ,,,Big Syke or some of the beats from The Elephant Mans Bones.
I will add it to the list
Last beat was fire 🔥
can you please make a boom bap beat tutorial from beginning to end?! i think it would help a lot of people understand more and if possible using stock plug ins or at least easily available ones. i’d watch it no matter how long it is
