THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was just here to see if you went over a coilover removal because i was fighting and couldn’t figure out how to get the coilover out. Very helpful video
@@CarModsGarage Hey man. My talon is a 420a. I started my car yesterday at 5pm and today at 3pm i tired to start my car and i lost fire. I checked and no spark to the plugs. I didnt touch the car at allllllll. Any reason it lost spark??
Hey I’m hearing a zipping/clicking noise, also a tapping noise from my front right whenever I let off the throttle or go low throttle. Would you say that’s a a cv axle issue? Because that’s what I’ve been thinking.
@@ToTooThree you don't need to drop all the mounts and shock . Just take off the nut on the spindle that attaches to the upper mount.. pop out the ball joint pull it forward pull out the axel.. done..
@@CarModsGarage All good man, another question tho. I appreciate the response btw, didn’t expect you would because of the age of the video. Anyways, when I took my vc axle out on the drivers side, it leaked out a lot of oil. Do I need to change the transmission fluid or add more in this case?
@@Itorahkno problems man. I always answer. Just add more transmission fluid. It probably came almost all out anyways. Fill it up until it leaks from the top hole and you should be good to go 👍
@@CarModsGarage okay thank you, I wish you were located in SoCal, always nice to meet good people, wouldn’t mind helping you out if you ever needed another pair of hands
@@CarModsGarage thanks for the response. Did you buy an oem oil seal straight from the Mitsubishi warehouse? The reason I'm asking is because I've heard that usually 3rd party seals(autozone, advance auto, o Reilly's) dont seal properly. I'm thinking of getting an oil seal straight straight from Mitsubishi
@@signsofthetimes886 I am almost positive I got from O'Reilly. To be honest I love to challenge those myths specially if I need to get them last minute lol. Mine is holding up fine so far
@@signsofthetimes886 Sorry man I don't. I remember going there and asking for the axle seals for the eclipse and they gave me the right ones. I believe they were green. I have a video installing it

@@hooninglexus4537 only thing I could think is wiring or the coil block where the cables connect. It could be burnt.
Thank you !!
Lower control arm both bolts come up done ✅ and you’ll save ton of time . Piece of woodblock and smack the axel with the bolt on it
Appreciate the advice. Will try next time. Thanks Mike!

Dang hard to say. Check if your calipers are not loose and also check to see if the the dust shield is not touching the rotors
This video is ambiguous as heck.
So much easier ways to remove the axel on the 2gs...
That would've been nice to know that before I've done that. lol
How is it?
He did it this way because he said he was adding new coil-overs. Also if you know such a better way why would you be watching this?

What’s the size of the bolt that’s connected to the cv axle on the hub bearing
Wow I've no idea. It's been so long.

Did you also replace the transmission oil seal where the cv axle goes into?
yes I did both sides.
