doors pads can be protected from water spraying by covering it with plastic sheets.
Just tinted an M5, and this video helped a ton with popping the panels
Oh my God dude ! You took no precautions to protect that leather interior . I would never have you do this work to my car just because it’s soapy water does not mean it won’t stain the leather.

DO you watch videos or get the info from somewhere on how to remove door panels for the vehicles you are tinting?
I have a suggestion that should fix some problems I see with your style of tinting. Go to Harbor Freight and get the plastic jar of small bungee cords to hang your door panels. I can tell you know what you’re doing but heating a finger on the inside with the panel that close is dangerous. A newbie could be out a very expensive door panel. Or you could just shrink the pattern before install. Love your show.

Im trying to learn how to tint i basically got it down but had a few problems with tucking the film in the seals but after watching this video i was impressed with your tutorial you showed and explained everything thoroughly. I ve watched several different tinters over tha past couple of weeks and i finally found what im looking for. Im hoping you have videos on the tools is it necessary to have the exact tools ? I have a heaf gun like yours but what you called a bulldozer i dont have. I purchased some plastic cards like you used and bought a couple squeggies but the proper tools is maybe one of my problems. The other not removing the door panels a huge help and difference thanks for your help. Also where can you buy the proper tools for installation?

you didn't need to shrink because your bottom loading?
The shop that i work at they always remove the door panel and sometimes the tint has a little bubbles.

When you done all that you should remove windows . It take about 10min more. For removing just gasket you can pull out uper part of panels. No need to remove it.

Hey dude I bought a 53 workhorse for my precuts but since I set it up it has had giving me trouble ,I have adjust the knife , I have adjusted the pressure and never cut perfect i always gotta go trough the cuts with my hand ,it leave some film stick to it it doesn’t cut trough the liner perfectly and if i put a lot of pressure it cut trough all any recommendation? I’m using carbon film , Would it help me a lot thank you !!!

When you put the film on let it sit for a minute go and put another piece on and then come back and squeegee the film will not slide on you
Less soap my guy
I just had too much soap in the bottle.. letting it sit may actually allow the film to collect contamination or fall too low grabbing contaminates from the bottom of the glass.

Yeah all respect for going the extra mile but why? Is it a way to charge more? Without the panel I get one micro creases on one side and they’re gone in 30 seconds with heat
Because i like to and its very easy for me. Everyone has their own method. Take what i show you and create a method that works best for you :) Cheers.

when 2 staging sometimes you will get creases on the sides and have to chizel out. removing panels or sweeps you get a much easier and cleaner install because you can just drop the bottom of the film behind the panel with no obstruction

To much time! Remember time its gold like my chain's! I do window tint and I never remove any panel
I also have a shop, most of the time i just pull sweeps unless the panel sits over the sweep then either 2 stage or remove.
