- what a video! first we went to collect our bait then headed out to catch these amazing fish and once again i manage to beat my PB. hope you enjoy the video!

Although I have a issue with eating certain fish and rays and hounds are imo not to eat itsca stunning fish taking a long time to grow why kill it for a meal when there's many other sustainable fish to eat sorry mate its opinion and that's mine

I respect your comment on your issue on keeping fish, but eating what I catch is one reason I’m not a carp angler. Growing up on an island I’ve been brought up eating fish. I never waste any fish I keep.

I probably delivered it wrong its not so much sustainability its probably more an issue of preference and i personally wouldn't eat hounds and rays but I would not slate someone who would i was just saying in my opinion there's more sustainable fish being mackerel, whiting, doggies, bass, loads more too however its choice mate and i respect your choice to eat anything you catch i love your channel and was just airing a view and not by any means judging you 😉

I had a 6lb.5oz & 9lb.13oz smooth hound off minster last night, 22nd of May. Had 3 other baby's. 1 thornback & 2 dog fish. All off squid. I was well happy.

@@theunknownfishermanuk8060 I was over the moon. Made sitting in heavy rain for an hour worth it. I was only 20 meters away from where they do the jet skiing. I'm lazy lol I don't like walking far from my car.

Any pointers for where to go on the kayak for bass around the island. Preferably off shellness or wardan Bay?
Shellness is probably best for bass but you’ve got to pull the kayak across the field, warden bay is definitely easier access. Both venues are governed by the tide. 🎣👍

Went off warden today. Hooked up to a 4 foot smoot hound. On ragworm. Went off like a bloody rocket
