@@markattardo - thanks! I agree. Because this is purely hobby and fun for me, I'm in love with exploring the limitations of older platforms. But only where the tool isn't vital to my success. I don't want to "explore" old laptops, for instance.
I love the sound of rain at the beginning. It brought us right into the moment. I got shivery goosies. 1:13 It IS your new baby 2:11 … 3:33 This whole interaction was amazing. I think it’s the reds against the greens in the whole frame. 4:36 I wanna see what they’re looking at! 5:49 With the band :) 7:09 Never going to stop talking about how much I love this photo. 7:52 IMPRESSIVE! I really love how you showed the comparison unprocessed vs. edited. You really brought that shot to life. It’s interesting see the ways editing can be used to create or emphasis a feeling/narrative.
Great photos Chris... I've been on the hunt for smaller and more pocket friendly cameras, but I've also found myself drawn back to a DSLR. I haven't owned one for 12 years I think...
I have an X-T5, a Nikon D3300 and some various film cameras. As awesome as the X-T5 is, I just don't really like EVF's that much. I know it's better because you get immediate feedback about exposure and such, but I enjoy seeing the actual scene in an OVF. Hence I end up shooting an OM-1 film SLR that I bought for $40 more often than my X-T5 lol.
I find using older equipment can be a lot of fun. Or at least mostly fun with a touch of patience sometimes required. Enjoyed the vid and photos👍👍

@@TakenByTim they're fun partly because they're such tanks. They feel like a real plough horse, you know?
