I’ve tanned for years now so quite a pro. I also use a dark mousse tan. Tip: tan arms/legs as normal n with the excess I buff it onto my hands/feet slightly n I then use another tan in medium which is in spray form. I then mist my hands n feet slightly so both blend. Hope that makes sense. Give it a go. I don’t have this overly orange hand problem x

i looooove this tan and i have tried LOADS of different tans!!! for your hands, apply a pump of your moisturiser (or a decent size blob) and then mix with a little squirt of the tan. rub this into your hands like a hand cream and blend down to your wrist. the tan will blend seamlessly to your hands and knuckles !! xxxxx

I am a pale Irish and love being tanned, apply fake tan at least once a week. I use a dark mousse for my arms/legs and apply with a tanning mitt. For the hands and feet (where my tan sticks) I take a squirt of the dark tan and about the same amount of moisturiser, mix them together and lightly buff this mix onto my hands/face/feet with a duo fibre foundation brush. Best method I've ever tried for the dry areas 🙋♀️🙋♀️

When doin my hands and feet and face and neck I do half a pump of tan and mix it directly with moisturiser and even rub it into the palms of my hands and slightly up my wrist and I never have a problem xxxx

Tanologist and skinny tan do the best tanning waters but they do eventually come off a bit patchy. Where as Coco Eve stays dark for nearly a week then fades off gradually rather than going patchy. It’s amazing, I’ve never loved a tan more. It takes a lot of colour to give me a tan because I’m so pale but this one gives me such a gorgeous tan

If you put plastic gloves on under the mitt while you tan your body then use the mitt or a cotton pad to do the back of your hands it doesn’t stain your hands quite as much xx

Uglyy : I use st moritz darker than dark or the express tan and leave it for like 5 hours! Always go really dark for me x

I use molly’s in extra dark and it looks AMAZING I prefer it over bondi sands
Super drug own is really good it’s a pink bottle it is not green and it is better for pale people as it looks more real
Uglyy : St Moritz is the best & so cheap it’s like £4 or £5. I like their dark one & the express tan. I normally reach for the express tan more & leave it over night it comes out a lovely golden shade & I always get compliments.

Soph, use moisturizer before and after you apply the tan to your hands, wash off like 30 minutes later. Works wonders for me, same with the face and feet.

Soph, I find if I completely moisturize my hands as I start tanning my arms (so the moisturizer doesn’t have too long to soak in) then I do my hands and it never sticks to my knuckles or goes patchy. I do the same trick with my feet and elbows :)

Soph if u don’t want your foundation to sink into your smile lines put your moisturiser on and then your primer but get any setting power ( loose powder or pressed powder ) and set where your smile lines are and they won’t crease and it will be a lot less noticeable. Love you loads and your vids always make me laugh xx
omg you beautiful girl. what bronzer did you use for your makeup after your tan? it doesn’t make your tanner look orange at all. sometimes i notice my bronzers bring out orangey undertones

tip - use a brush to put the tan onto hands and feet as it makes it smooth and a normal colour x

For those "grabby" spots (hands, feet, knees, elbows) i do them last with whatever is left over on the mitt (no new product). See if that helps for next time!
I haven't tried this formula but it looks identical to Skinerals Natural Skin Science self tanner. I personally don't usually put much on my hands. I just blend it into them and it still looks natural.

Put talcum powder all over your body to stop it from feeling sticky it’s really helpful xx
You should try the tan (bare by vogue) medium and do 3 layers that’s what I do it does not not stick and does not stain your bed sheets I always use it and I have only done my tan twice without someone helping me to do my back and no streaks or blotches are ever there x

What tan would you suggest to someone who has never fake tanned before? Something natural looking which I won’t be able to mess up and turn myself orange. I am pretty much as pale as you are naturally. Thanks!
You can use talc for stickiness too...way cheaper than setting powder 👍
Also, leave the tan on your hands and for only an hour or two then wash it off. Tan developes about 8 million times faster on those parts of the body - no idea why!
Hi Sophie, I have no idea if you'll see this at all or reply but if you do I just want to ask if you have made a video on tips for tanning for beginners or how to approach tanning if you've never done it before. I'm pondering over whether or not to try it as I have pale skin and having tried darker foundations before I actually prefer it so I have been wondering if I should try it in the future but not really sure how and I wouldn't be able to buy expensive tanning lotion so do you have any suggestions or tips on cheap options or how to do it or if there's a video you've made would make me happy!!
