This is my fourth time trying to make espressos at home now that I got my Lever Presso and K6 delivered! I have a long way to go to perfecting the espresso making using these, but I thought I'd share what I learned so far and how I'm making espressos at home for those us fumbling our way trying to use these.
It's so satisfying to finally make my own espressos and lattes at home after only having pour overs at home and buying lattes at cafes 🥰

The leverpresso is certainly one of the most remarkable minimalist espresso makers out there. A shame it's so rare to find.
On your prep: Most scales will suffer severe degradation of accuracy from being abused as a counter, let alone as a tamping stand. Better don't do that, ever.
That being said, I appreciate your coverage of the decharging/cleaning procedure, the most underrepresented part of espresso making - both in terms of "overall effort per shot" required with a particular model, as well as output quality.
@gfew3vhy592 it really is! Still enjoying daily lattes with it :) glad to hear you enjoyed my amateur video. Oh yeah I don't use my scale as a counter or tamping stand, got too distracted with the filming on this video lol. I almost burned myself when I was first using the leverpresso during cleaning so thought I'd share so nobody else gets hurt!
lol excellent i was wondering about having both of leverpresso and kigrinder k6 ! how do you feel about them?
@romaric6022 love them both! Have been using them both daily and I still love my iced lattes made with them. Did you get them both?
do you drink the extra liquid after the first pull or should that be thrown away?
@JackD1311 Throw away, the extra liquid is bitter and acidic, don't recommend drinking it 😅
