- Check out this compilation of Solo MVP Hunt clips in ROM 2.0 Beta Server. You'll also see a quick comparison between +10 Shadow Guard vs +10 Giant Shield.
Looks like MVP hunting hasn't changed much, at least for the current MVPs. Unfortunately, I have yet to try and figure out how to hunt the new MVPs, hopefully, it can be done.

For those asking about my build here, it is similar to my recent MVP Build video, with a few minor adjustments and some new gear that I got in the beta server: ua-cam.com/video/YRTDPtGoD9M/v-deo.html
Note that a pure earthdrive build can deal even more ED dmg.

I played RO on PC about 15 years ago.. so im semi new but how does paladin fare as a starting character ? Is it decent or ill just struggle ?
Slowww grinding and zeny, but that’s how ROM is, some classes have crazy advantage when grinding. The easy route is to get a fast grinding/farmer class and switch to paladin when you have the resources. But where’s the fun in that? Hehe
Careful Rednas, your comparison might be wrong. The conditions you set for the test were not the same. You don't have some buffs like Inspiration on the shadow guard test, whereas your food ran out on the giant shield test, which might make a huge difference in damage.
I have the same self buffs and foods, beta 2 just “hides” some of the buffs with the interface update. You can see how the interface hides buffs at around 5:00
I’m doing a more thorough test soon hopefully also in pvp.
@@RednasGG Is that so? My bad then, but it's just a little weird to see such a big difference. With runed assumption the difference might become way higher

Shadow Guard > Giant Shield in all Condition with Earth Drive. In All test you to do. You only Need DEF Base High. DEF Base High = OP ED

How to be a beta tester in this game?
For overall use, this shield can also usefull for tanking dungeon since it give huge boost of 25% def for +10 refine.
Btw, is darkness effect same as blindness? is it useful in PvP?
It's not the best for tanking, but good enough - well anything is good enough at this point since all instances are now very easy to complete. Hopefully the Devs come up with new challenging raids/instances

@@RizkyInsane It will probably be expensive at first, but may become cheaper since it's not as versatile as Giant Shield.
How did u get that lvl and item in short time ? 2.0 beta start on 1 feb right?. Can u gime some tips?
Some beta testers, myself included, were allowed to bring a copy of their main character from EL server. This is not a "from scratch" build.

If you're talking about the Special Gryphon mount, it's not new - you can get it for 30M zeny.
how long to get all those gears ? is it recommended return to ROM ?
if you enjoy the game then it’s a good time to get back. As for getting the gear, ROM is RNG based so It will depend mostly on your luck and grinding setup.
How to get shadow guar
The same app lang ba to at update lang ang mangyayari? Or mag rerelease ng bagong app and need to make new account?
It's just an update, although we will probably have to redownload the app.

Atk%/Matk% Deposit have no effect on Earth Drive. So this is very F2P friendly, compared to other Atk/Matk based builds :)

This is done in ROM 2.0 Beta Server, only a few players hunt MVPs

No board MVPs spawn at the same time. There are other "outboard" MVPs that can be "dominated" like before though.

Yes, through Advanced Runes
@@RednasGG so in the clips, the damaging abilities you use are SoJ then Command of Charge then wrap it up with ED?
@@danieldeimanacap3894 charge of command S rune automatically casts ED every 2s for 5x if you roll 3rd line. Very OP :)

LOL, this is a beta server, they give 500 bcc every day and you can't buy anything with money.

The “fun” part is getting it done as a divine avenger “tank” class. Also, even if you can 1-hit mvps, it doesn’t mean you’ll be the MVP.

I usually hunt with a FS, but I don't have one in Beta server, hence why I hunt there solo
MVP hunting is nonsense now focus on pvp dude lack viewers.
I've been working on my sacri build - not enough to make an update though. For now I'm testing Beta 2.0, so might as well try out all the MVPs there.

Or maybe limit MVP hunting like Ragnarok Origin so it won't be abused. Unfortunately, it looks like they're not planning on changing anything as far as I checked.
