Thanks for this message. Sadly churches in America are businesses, and like all businesses, it's all about the money. Everything else is secondary. If discipleship would increase their revenue, they WILL do it.
A big component for American church failure is the “acceptance” mentality versus coming to the Father with a contrite heart- I pray we approach our Lord with more of a Psalm 38 heart posture

God called me out of the 'church system' 10 years ago. "Come out of her my people."
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 2 Timothy 3
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 1 Timothy 4
My friend, what exactly do you mean by the ' Church system ' ?
My sister has said the same thing - called her out of the church system. No idea what that means? She has even stopped meeting with us as we are vaxxed .SMH. Church may not be perfect but it is the bride of christ , Jesus' beloved, and where we need to be meeting, and not forsaken meeting together etc
@@paulc7190 Usually these people are very ignorant of scripture yet think they are much more enlightened than other people or righteous or extra special in some other way
I feel sorry for them but generally think the Body of Christ is better off without them bringing their un biblical ideas and other crazy notions they always have, to burden the Church with them
If one correction doesn't move them I usually think it's all for the best and leave them alone
I may pray for them after that but don't really worry myself too much

According to Proverbs 23:9, you have chosen the correct response. We can continue to pray for the Lord to deliver them from deception and to help those walking in darkness to find their way out. 🙏🏽
True - 1Timothy 4. AMEN. Yahshua healed the man who had been blind for 40 years (John chapter 9). Yahshua is not a church system: therefore He produces disciples, and not consumers. The parents of the 40 year old man in John chapter 9, however, were frightened to even admit when questioned how that their son had been healed of his blindness and said: He is of age. Let him speak for him self. They feared the system, instead of fearing YHWH and His Commandments, His Word Yahshua Who obeys Him in all things. Psalm 119 has been such a blessing in this regard, as we are learning to fear only YHWH and worship only Him and do what He says to do, and not worship the system which kills, rapes, destroys and lies to the people, as the false father leads them to do so.
"A man who visits a barber to be shaved, a man who goes to a tailor for his suits, is not a disciple." - literally every other American pastor
Disciples of Yahshua give, as they follow Yahshua - without reserve. Consumers take and demand and have no regard for the poor among them. This is the opposite of Yahshua.
If brother needs a shirt and you have two, give him one, John the cousin of Yahshua said.
In the book of the Acts of the apostles, we see this pattern of giving and having all things in common with one another, as they followed Yahshua and His commandments. It was clearly loving YHWH with their heart, soul, mind and strength and then equally loving their neighbor as themselves. They truly cared enough to heal the sick; raise the dead; cleanse the leper; cast out demons. This is loving one's neighbor and self and the YHWH Who created them, with Truth and Love and Power and a Sound Mind which He bestows.
Dr Brown saw this problem in his old book in the 90s. For him supporting all kinds of mega churches over the years has not helped.
And the wonderful irony about this Dr Brown...
...is that you're in TOTAL agreement with John Piper... and the right orientation of Calvinism. This is what election is about.
...YOU are a Calvinist, Dr Brown. But consumerism of the West has made The gravity of what being chosen by God is all about.
There is no one who's resources undergird and emphasize what you're saying more than John Pipers!!!
But the American Church Who has become predominantly Calvinistic... Don't get the weight of what it means and this is where the divergence is about to take place.
America is about to be taken out. Fear and Trembling.
