- In this video I will demonstrate the direct upgrade process from Windows 7 to the RTM version of Windows 11 (build 22000.194). Keep in mind a TPM + CPU patch has been used for this to work.

Overexaggerating. Mine does 40% of the screen (you have to have a 800x600 monitor to make it cover 70% of the screen)
I did upgrade to Windows 11 from Windows 8.1 quickly via Windows 10 Version 1909-based Installer without any data and apps loss!

He should've used a Windows 10 ISO, replaced the install.wim file with the 11's one and then he could easily upgrade with apps and settings too

How to bypass TPM check manually: open regedit and go to HKLM\SYSTEM\Setup and create a new key "Labconfig" and create a new 32-bit binary value "BypassTPMCheck"
This works for clean installs. Not upgrades.

I've seen that before, I'm pretty sure it's a side effect of the TPM patches used. It still installs consumer Windows 11 rather than Windows Server like the installer implies.

You have Windows 7 product key. You can’t use it on Windows 11. You activate on Windows 7 and upgrade to Windows 11 with ISO. Windows is still activated… *STRANGE*
Windows 11 is very similar to windows 20, so it must confused Windows 10's free upgrade. Or not and it applies to windows 11.

Did you bypassed the secure boot check? Windows 7 does support UEFI and TPM 2.0 but it doesn't support secure boot
windows 7 does not support tpm 2.0. It does support uefi (kinda) but for full uefi + tpm support you need windows 8 and higher
Windows 11 Doesn't Actually require secure boot it just needs the capablites of turning it on

@@trsofficalW yes it does. I tried to install Windows 11 on my 7 virtual machine, the installer said it must support secured boot, but my iso maybe isn't the rtm version, its build is maybe 22000.351 or higher

I keep Windows 7 on a virtual machine and use it every day. Windows 11 is meh to me and isn't very satisfying to me as it is for Windows 7.
Windows 10 and 11 are basically the same version. In the OS, it shows that your using Windows 11. While in Google, when your trying to sign in to your account on your PC, it will show that its Windows NT 10
ya windows 11 still uses the windows 10 kernel, so thats why programs think windows 11 is windows 10
weird because i feel like microsoft would want modern programs to be incompatible with old windows versions, which would be impossible if all future versions used the windows 10 kernel

Sorry, but for me this is absolutely useless. I don't want to listen to music. I want someone to tell me slowly exactly what I have to do. A curser flying around a screen clicking on things that I can't read, or know what they are or indeed have on my pc is no good at all. There is a huge level of assumed knowledge of the viewer and it would be helpful if this was pointed out at at the beginning.

@melonmusk1274 I sure did. Win 7 is more polished, way more ahead of its time, no bloatware and Spyware, no Microsoft accounts, better apps, homescreen widgets and great personalization. It is dead now though so windows 11 is a better choice
