I’m wishing you crafty joy in your restored craft room. I’ve been through wildfires too. Fortunately my home didn’t burn either, but smoke damage is no joke. Everything! Everything has to be cleaned or thrown away. And fighting with insurance companies , oh man. I did manage to save some papers by just letting them sit in sunlight for weeks. Not craft papers naturally. 😅 I do so hope you have fun with your glimmer machine.

All of the cards are gorgeous...but the lite blue foiled with the snowflake is a total grand slam!!! I thought the ends of the snowflake had diamonds on them. Great card.
Wow 🤩 This video was a tour de force. I’m sending it to everyone to whom I have given a Glimmer machine. I don’t have one, but I just might have to ask a crafty friend for a favor now. 😉 I laughed so hard when you said you kept the foil and glitter cardstock monochromatic so it would be subtle. 😂 Yeah, like as subtle as a drag queen. Not that I object. ‘Tis the season after all. I love over the top cards. Definitely my jam. I’m wondering about complimentary colors now. I saw foiling over Simon’s Lunar Paste; that’s fabulous too. I’m definitely trying your suggestions for layering foil and glitter together that don’t require a foiling machine.

Wow wow WoW! So many beautiful cards. I can honestly say I have never had "buyers remorse" on anything that I have bought from Memory Box or Poppy Stamps, they have such fabulous designs and quality. I CAN say that I deeply regret not snagging the proper Merry Christmas die when I had a chance at Black Friday sales! Thanks for showcasing the foil on foil and all that shine. :D So pretty.
Another fantastic video:) I bought a foil machine for years ago and unfortunately it’s still in the box… Let me explain I’m part of the California Camp Fire and even though our house survived they broke down our door to make sure nobody was in here and needless to say my door was busted so our homeless open and exposed all the toxins and poisons so we’ve had to redo pretty much everything in our house all over again. That being said my craft room is the last room to be cleaned and new flooring and painting and all that fun stuff. I had to throw all of my paper away and some of my stamps that were left on my desk out of the package and so I haven’t been able to craft in my craft room but I’m excited because I’m hoping come January I will be able to get my craft room all done and I can start using my foiling machine :-) yes I could’ve used my kitchen table unfortunately it holds a lot of things that we are re-cleaning and trying to put away… Fires are nasty and they take a lot out of you. You are inspiring and you make me even more excited to get into my craft room to make my cards and things:) tfs and God Bless:)

Yet another new thing I hadn’t thought about! Did you have to do additional heat time for the glitter paper? I heard you say foil paper takes the regular time. I don’t remember if you said glitter paper takes extra time.

ALL my videos have closed captions - I pay to have them done! However, it takes the service a few hours to get them done after I post my video. So check back tonight and they will be there. I already put my order in :)

so I have a laminator and an embossing-only machine... would this technique work if I laminated the cardstock and foil and then put them through the embossing machine?
Jennifer, could you tell me the three green colored cardstocks you showed us with the glitter spray? Also, what company has them? I almost used up my favorite pine-colored cardstock and need more. Thank you.
Lovely cards, but try to exchange the harsh black shadows/outlines with a darker color in the color scheme of your card. It will help give some color harmony. At the moment, the black just feels so heavy and misplaced. 😊
Your videos are the best. But one thing, friendly critique, the pop ups at the top are very distracting. And your videos are so great. P.s. maybe because it feels like notifications are covering your video. Could be a “me “ issue. Lol

I store foils in a drawer and I store foil plates in the pockets that I used to store dies.
Really enjoyed this video, while I don’t have a foiling machine yet, I’m hoping I will by the weekend 🤞 I’m looking forward to learning to use it.

Thank you for your comment. Whether you should get a new one or not is your decision. I believe the Glimmer Machine works with the Big shot.

It will depend on your machine and papers but I didn't find that additional time was required

C. A. S. E stands for Create A Similar Example (or something like that). Make a card inspired by another card design.
