    Hey there! With regards to the bike's engine being 184cc and why they did not just bump it up to 200cc (To "maximise" our Licence capability especially in SG context), Ive thought about it before and this is my take: all this is done after multiple design reviews behind the scenes which considers 1) Bike performance 2) Bike weight 3) Bike production costs for the manufacturer 4) Emission standards they have to pass and last but not least, 5) these companies will try to reuse the engines that has been working for them and selling well so that they do not need to manufacture and spend time designing new ones 😝 (Cheapskate horr they all? haha)
    So all the 3 factors are like a triangle, they affect each other. At the end of the day, the manufacturer ensures that you have a good sized bike in terms of ergonomics, power of the bike, and something "Affordable" so that the consumers can enjoy it. Case in point, the Tourism is already a big and heavy bike as your friend mentioned. Imagine if they added afew more CCs to it, it would add more weight or size wise (since the engine is bigger in size), being too big to handle, and that would affect fuel economy as they require more petrol to be burnt to keep the bike moving etc etc.
    If you managed to read this far... THANKS! HAHA I just want to say you have great content bro! Been following u recently 😁 I dont comment on youtube videos much but your videos are so engaging and interesting that I took my time to comment! Hope to see you around some day! 😙👍 Keep up the great work!

    i wanna ask, do you face the issue of the engine warning light coming on due to the engine over heat ? cause this bike had no coolant right ? did your engine warning light ever came on ?

    • @zarzarzar212
      @zarzarzar212 3 роки тому +1

      No. In fact i rode through bush fires during the thailand trip.
      And outdoor temperatures were like 40°C. Dont worry about engine over heating. It is designed that way.

    Salam bro, im currently riding a cbf190x fighthawk. Bought it in June last month, and its coe was left with 7 years. Previous owner had only done normal servicing regularly and full servicing ONCE for the past 3 years of his time with the fighthawk. And now it has been 1 month+ since i took over the ownership of the bike, (been working as a foodpanda dispatch rider eversince) and the only issue i have faced is the camshaft. Went to a workshop last night to do a full servicing and also to check my valve clearance, and they found out that my camshaft's bearings are mostly damaged. Therefore i decided to go for a full servicing and a top overhaul for future investment. For now the bike is running more smoothly than ever. Why i decided to go for a top overhaul? Its because i have been warned and informed many times by some mechanics & friends that the only main issue with Fighthawk is, the camshaft. So i couldnt took the risk to ignore the problem when its being voiced out by the mechanic. This is just a beginning experience for me with this bike. Other than that, the electronics on this bike, the headlights highbeam taillights signals are still good. Zar, i know you love your tourism, but we share the same engine model, also with the cb190r. I would strongly suggest that you would check your camshaft bearings. But if you have done so, all the best on your next journey with your awesome tourism ! Thats all i have to share :)

      Thank you for the feedback bro. really appreciate your comment. I am aware of the problems of this bike,
      i know that sooner or later i will need to overhaul my engine. i already have the intention overhaul my bike once it reaches 50,000 km mileage. currently its coming close top 48,000km.
      Anyway thank you for following us in our videos. And if you see me or farhan on the road do say hi. we would love to meet our viewers.

      @@eddyhilman8941 well there is Panjang Garage at Paya Ubi industrial park.
      Then there is Aljunied Motors
      Tok Kong Motors...
      As because its an air cooled single cylinder bike, is relatively easy to service and repair. Provided got spare part.
      Some shops i go to dont carry their spare parts.
      Nowadays almost every workshop i go to, sure got either Aerox, Adv150, Xmax in the queue / being repaired.
