  • Recently Lars and his coworker Christian took a Super cub to the world famous (locally) backcountry airstrip known as Chukar Flats for a bush flying leson. After a bit of Practice Lars got out and Let Christian get a few Solo laps in to really get comfortable flying in and out of this somewhat technical little strip.

Epic John Day River footage. Love how chill you are giving technical canyon flying instruction - making it look easy is the hardest thing in the world to do.

It's amazing how comfortable you can get doing something this technical when you do it on a regular basis.

Awesome, once again. I need to make my way down there once the weather cooperates.

It was definitely a fun day. It's hard work, but somebody's gotta do it.

You chaps are so lucky to have area like that to land in, even in Scotland we would be very hard pushed to find places as wild as that on which we could land.

We are very fortunate to have so many amazing wild places that are relatively close to home. It's definitely easy to forget how spoiled we are to have these opportunities. But this is one spot that does make you stop and really appreciate just how lucky we are.

@@low_lead the States are so open for aviation, I hope you can keep it that way.
