Louise Richardson DBE is the independent Chair of the Consultative Forum on International Security Policy. Originally from Co. Waterford, she is an eminent and internationally respected academic of over 40 years’ experience, whose expertise is in the area of political science. She is president of Carnegie Corporation of New York, a philanthropic organisation based in New York. Previously, she has served as vice-chancellor of the University of Oxford and of the University of St. Andrews, and as executive dean of the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study.
