The only issue I see with this house is that all the rain water will run off the roof and funnel into that courtyard 😂

Or snow! Here in the US Northeast any roof that doesn't direct snow away from the house is a big no-no.
you could install a storm drain system around the perimeter of the courtyard to redirect the rainwater

Loving the 70’s looking style home. Sunk in floor in the living room would be cool or even split level throughout the home

Deli I love the color scheme of this house soooo much!!! It's all out and fun but also sofisticated at the same time!
I ended up with a cottage, barnyard, and pond build for my take of this challenge! It's so cool how different the results are from the same guidelines. I'm working on the challenge to use every item without moving or rotating them now. It's taking a lot of time and creativity. Thank you for such a fun save file to build in!

Looks great! Definitely not something I could come up with, but I love the use of colours and the way you made the most of the space. The courtyard/garden was a nice feature and the roof situation turned out great! I struggle with basic roofing, so I learnt something here. 😁

omg YES ! it's not just me having issues. I also use a wireless one for it and suddenly last month or 2 I cannot use the delete key for sims... coincidence who knows🧐 also 70s style is😍😍😍
There are some musicians I think are are absolute legends and they are still alive I believe but they are outliers in their field. Like sir mix-a-lot, I am pretty sure he is still alive. I dunno I have to look that info up later but yeah he is a legend to me. I'm a very curvy lady and I will never look like a model haha. Also sorry for multiple comments.
I'm in South Africa and the last week has been scorching. It's started to cool down a bit today but Deli I feel your pain with this heat😅 The build is stunning. I love the colours you used.

I can’t relate to all this period stuff, I feel bad for women who suffer like you. I don’t get PMS, my periods feel non existent, and I don’t have recovery days after. I’m fairly normal feeling all month, and not bothered by my cycle. It’s crazy to me how it can put people out like that.

I love seeing you experiment with colours! (and actually keeping them instead of jump cuts to neutral changes :P) I for sure would get overwhelmed living in a house with that much colour irl but I think it looks soo nice.
My grandparents had a house where they had a dark blue feature wall in the living room, one bedroom had a really rich maroon feature wall, when I was little my bedroom there was actually light pink and purple and my grandma and mum cut out fairies from wall paper and stuck them on individually. The other walls in the house were a light custard yellow and the floors were big marble looking tiles. It all sounds like way too much but it worked really well. When they sold it they just had it repainted to a cream and although it was still nice, it sorta felt like it had lost all its character. But I know the new owners have painted it in their own way too so it’s cool that another family gets to add their own character while they live there.
This build is literally EVERYTHING. Colours do be hitting the sweet spot for me, chef’s kiss!

I am loving this house. I normally use a lot of neutrals or really dark tones, this is so not my style, but I totally want to make some sims to live here. I'm picturing bell bottoms and big hair. I love, love, love it. Great job!

I seriously had my doubts during this build 😂 haha But our girl Deli pulled it together once again! Such a fun build! and definitely inspired me to want to build some 60's 70's homes! I wanna convert one of the worlds into a 60s/70s era as if time hasn't moved for them.

This house is so fun! I just built a 70s themed house for my nightmare legacy challenge, and I really enjoyed using a lot of oranges and greens and teal.
This house made me want to play Sims lol. I love it!
I can't stop looking at the roof and thinning about how all the rain would run in to the inner courtyard.

Loved the length of the video and your commentary is just gold! I am not personally a fan of this aesthetic, and I was really skeptical in the beginning, but it turned out amazing - a really unique blend of fun colours and unusual furniture, nice job!

I know Deli wanted to make the rooms bigger but does anyone else feel that maybe 70s bedrooms were smaller? I just felt like it seemed like the fit the size of the home. Regardless, its fantiastic and really intersting to see Deli's process. Anyone else miss seeing her in her live streams and in uploads, it is good to see her back and healthy!

I feel like I would have hated this build a couple of months ago but I love it now the interior reminds me so much of a Australian series I watched and one of the girls had a house like this especially the lounge room

Deli, can you do another one of things you didn’t know about Sims!! Cause I have one... if you type in the cheat Money, then a space, then how much you want your Sims to have! Ex- Money 300000
Deli!!! With the keyboard I have to do things manually too! I can no longer just type ctrl shift c. I now have to do ctrl windows key shift c. So annoying! And I don’t think it’s my keyboard
I LOVE THIS HOUSE. I'm not against modern style, but not if its always beige and white, this is really fun, colorful, i love your style and your houses but in the sims its funny to have stranger forniture

I really miss the way you use to tour the house making it look like an actual walk thru... I remember you said something about somebody having motion sickness but how do they watch tv... This is UA-cam, ya know, like tv. Its something you been doing since you been on this platform, don't take my fun away because they don't know how to pause the video so they eyes can catch up... After the build I always look forward to the walk thru now its really just edited no actual walk thru. This sounds mean but think about it I'm pretty sure someone else feels the same way.
Hear me out, where you did the blue strip on the tv wall (dunno if you’ve kept it, not finished) I really envisioned following the strip with the floor to just behind the couch. So there’s a l shaped stripe of blue. It wouldn’t work in normal houses but who’s to say it couldn’t look cool. It would defo be a talking point. You could even frame it with the spa day lights and floor pieces
I'd love to see you try a 1980's middle-class Canadian bungalow (single-story) home with a basement for a build!
I will have to point out that if it ever rains all the rain is going right into the courtyard because of the angle of the roofs 😭😭 ik it’s the sims but still
Okay this was amazingly pulled off. You should do a challenge where you can't change the camera angle / move it around! I reckon that would be SO hard!
i would think that build inside the lines also means u can't touch that part in the middle....and not make a green house something out of it
