Kingsnake Eats a Rattlesnake at Eaton Canyon Falls

Pardon my language in the video but this was definitely one of if not the most amazing things I’ve found while on the trail. This video was taken by me on 8/4/21 around 6pm while hiking at Eaton Canyon Falls, truly a once in a lifetime find. I’m so grateful I was in the right place at the right time to witness this rare occurrence of predation on a Rattlesnake

Thanks man, I honestly didn’t think he’d be able to eat it. I saw that kingsnake trying and I was like are you out of your mind. That rattlesnake was significantly thicker and nearly the same length but after an hour of trying that kingsnake sure proved me wrong.

I've never seen a King Snake lose a fight yet.
