My father recently passed away and had C. Meningitis as well as three cancers. I pray for everyone who has to go through it. they couldnt do lumbar punctures bc there was a mass on his spine. so very sad.
Yes. I was diagnosed with MM in May of 2016 and it was a steep learning curve for the next couple of years, as I had never heard of Myeloma before. Nobody's more surprised than me that I'm still here eight years later. So many treatment options have come along in that time that it's hard to keep up. Anyway, we have to soldier on and make the most of each day especially the rest days.
Interesting. I have Multiple Myeloma and am on maintenance treatment with Daratumubab (monoclonal antibody immunotherapy) and Dexamethasone, and amongst other side effects meds I take Fluconazole. I found this video very informative as to why I am taking Fluconazole. A modified and suppressed immune system would make me prone to infections, especially airborne ones, and I live in the countryside as well. Thanks for this information.

Thank you ❤
I investigated and researched this disease back in 2017. It was a very informative period.
