Interesting side note. I'm from Houma but worked for the Sheriff's office in St. Mary parish back in the early 90's. One day i was pumping gas into my patrol car at our motor pool in Franklin, and Ernie Ladd drove up looking for our main office. I didn't know he lived in Franklin. I was VERY surprised. Got his autograph before he drove away. He was really nice about it.
Good story here , I saw duggan live in white plain,ny around 80'81 and he was under card guy, before his big push, matt borne was a pyscho, 2nd generation, and was more like 250 not 220, he could stretch anyone, was like a buzz sawyer,ladd afl/nfl chief player ,and wrestler!
